Excellent Source for those who are IPHO Apspired!!,

This review is from: International Physics Olympiads (Hardcover)
This book is an excellent preparation for those who are interested in taking part in the National or International Physics Olympiad--the most prestigeous high school / beginning college level contests. But there is another book that collects all the problems including detailed solutions and explanations of the past olympiad contests beginning from 1967 to 1995. I forgot the author's name but it was then only available in Chinese, Thai languages other than English. If you are really serious in problem solving and want to make your name in the national or international physics hall of fame, the second book is a MUST! My friend IPhO gold medalist benefited so much from studying this book--it's like Ravi Vakil, Kedlaya and Poonen's William Lowell Putnam Book, so useful! But unfortunately it's extremely hard to find!

The types of problems represented in this book are extremely difficult. I would recommend it to an advanced student of high school physics.
