My daughter got this toy for Christmas. She's currently 11 months old. She LOVES music and this toy has so many songs and sound making activities, it's crazy! She can push the buckets of fish to play longer nursery rhyme songs (which she dances to), there's the keyboard on top of the ark, and she can match up the animals to their respective places on the ark and hear the animal's "voices" (roar, moo, etc). There's a few other things that make sound too - pushing Noah plays a foghorn, turning the steer makes sound, and she can change the time on the clock. I also love the many little animals, they're the perfect size for her tiny hands and I can teach her their names at the same time. The ark also wobbles like a ship when it's pushed - everything about this toy is so fun for her!

I contemplated not getting this toy because of the reviews saying how loud the sound is. I quickly remedied this by tracing a circle out of clear packing tape the exact same size as the little circular speaker on the ark and taping it right over the speaker - this literally took me 2 minutes to do. It dampened the sound a little too much so I just left a tiny sliver of the speaker exposed. Since the tape is clear and pretty heavy duty, my daughter doesn't see it and would need to be very motivated to get it off - probably around the same time she outgrows this toy. It's PERFECT now!

This toy does have an on/off button, it is on the bottom of the ark! Also the keyboard serves as an OFF button, if you touch it, the song goes OFF. LOVE this toy!

My SIL and I (and our babies) fell in love with this toy when we saw it in the church's nursery. Unfortunately we couldn't find it anywhere. After much searching on the internet I finally found it in England and ended up paying $80 (mainly in shipping) for 2 of these. As soon as I opened the package my daughter had a ball with it! She loves pounding on the piano keys or pushing the buckets to start the music. She also loves the different animals although they do tend to get lost in her toy box. There are so many things to push that play some adorable sound. My husband finds it annoying, but my daughter and I love it. I can't wait to send my nephew the one I bought him for Christmas!

I got this toy for my 18 month old son after seeing how much he loved his cousin's. He's into animal sounds right now, and this toy is able to incorporate that along with learning shapes, matching, colors and sounds. We love it!

My son received this toy as a present for his first birthday. While he enjoys playing with it alot, there are a few downsides to it.

There is NO ON/OFF switch and there is only one volume... VERY LOUD. Each of these wouldn't be so bad by themselves, but together they make this toy very annoying.

This is a toy with a LOT of bells and whistles. Like other reviewers pointed out, there is no on/off switch but that hasn't been a problem so far. Some reviewer said there was a switch on the bottom but we've looked and looked and don't see anything. There are some strange holes on the bottom that don't seem to have any purpose. Regardless, it's a cute toy with lots of buttons and sounds and keeps my one-year-old interested.

There are farm animals on top that make their respective sounds when pressed and a piano. Noah makes a fog horn sound, the boat wheel makes a variety of sounds, there are two baskets of food in the back that play several songs, and a rooster above those that crows. On the lower level are "jungle" animals and some of their sounds are interesting. The giraffe makes a hilariously painful donkey sound and the tiger sounds like a jaguar. The boat also makes a clicking sound when rolled which my guys seems to like best of all.

The downside of the toy is that the animals on the lower level are very difficult to get in and out due to the low ceiling clearance. It wouldn't be so hard if they all had round bases, but the shapes mean they have to be put in a certain way. Also, Noah is the only figure that does not go in or stay in easily--he pops off his peg unless you press really hard.

This toy is cute but it has no ON/OFF button! Why do manufacturers do that?!?! It's loud and has a tendency to start making noise by itself sometimes (which is REALLY annoying when it starts tweeting in my toddler's room while he is sleeping!) We finally had to put it all the way down in the basement to avoid being jolted awake in the middle of the night. We received it as a gift but I never buy toys that makes sounds if they don't have an OFF button. So annoying!!

I love the idea of this Noah's Ark activity ark and it is super cute. Some pros: it has a little "piano" type thing on the top which plays do-re-mi, etc. and will hold a baby's interest :), the animals are durable, and too big to be swallowed so I feel safe with my toddler playing with it, and finally, the animal sounds (when you place the animals in their spots) are realistic albeit loud (there is no "off" button). As for Noah, when you push him, this really annoying fog horn type noise occurs. I got over that, but coupled with the fact that you can't turn it down/off and the animals inside the ark are kind of hard to get to (especially b/c they have specific shapes that must be matched), I gave this a less than stellar review. The other thing is that the tiger's growl is a little over the top - think loud and jungle-like! That said, I still love the idea of it and really enjoy playing with it on the floor with my toddler. I wouldn't say don't buy it, but just realize what you're getting!

Bought this for my 1 year old niece. Even though she can't put the animals in the correct places, she loves the music and the animal sounds. Kind of difficult to put animals into lower level. Definately happy with this toy!

After seeing this toy at a friend's house, I wanted to buy it for my favorite set of twins (a boy and girl), who belong to my pastor and his wife (my VERY GOOD friends). The twins LOVE it. They love the sounds the animals make (to me, they sound very authentic) and it just so happens the little boy's name is Noah. It is VERY durable, and they play with it a lot. I was so glad I could find it on Amazon. I was told it was purchased at a toy store in Northern KY. I just put "Noah's Ark" in the search box, and there it was. I would definitely (and have already) recommend this toy to others.
