This is a beautiful, dainty, light-weight set. I own several styles of sterling flatware and this is a nice luncheon set. Since I am always pressed for time, I wash my sterling in the dishwasher on gentle. (Always keep a piece of copper in the dishwasher basket to prevent the silver from turning black. A 4" piece of copper pipe from the hardware store does the job.) However, these handles are so slim, they slip through the flatware basket and one spoon was chopped in half. So, if ordering, you'll have to remember to put the spoons bowl down--every time--or wash by hand. It's just one more housekeeping chore I can live without.
