International Relations, 2008-2009 Update (8th Edition) (MyPoliSciKit Series) (Paperback)by J. Goldstein is superb and gives a first hand knowledge on the intricacies and vastness of international relations with perfect clarity. Even a lay man can feel enriched once he goes through the book.
The best thing is that it is a perfect continuation and consummation on its earlier version with every facility for the reader to search out any particular topic. But I think time has come for the authors to write a separate volume on current events like the Iraqi crisis, the nuclear stand off with N. Korea, issues in Kosovo, NATO's rift with Russia, terrorism and a host of other issues. It is then that we may see many illuminating analyses hitherto not done on those issues. The book gives you a seminar in the topic of International Relations. Although there's always space to expand, mainly in security studies, the book worth the buy and the reading.

Not a good textbook, perfect for an armchair scholar but not someone who hopes to actually apply what they learn in college. The book presents theories that are outdated and thoroughly debunked and asserts them as fact.

The book came fast and in time. I had bought the wrong one for my college course and this allowed me to catch up. It was in great condition, never used.
Thanks!

The item was in great condition but it took more than two weeks to get here which ended up being a bit of a hassle, but still great quality. Remember if you want it on time pay the extra for shipping
