I won't throroughly lambaste this set because it was only $25. However, I purchased it because another reviewer stated that it is very "heavy and sturdy". When I received the package, I was very surprised that it weighed so little! This is the type of flatware that may bend if too much force is applied. It might be nice for a picnic or outing, or as an extra set that rarely gets used, but I would caution against purchasing it for everyday use. I hope this helps.

I also bought this set because another user said it was "very heavy". I agree that they were being too nice using the word very, but it is sturdy. The silverware could probably be bent if you put too much pressure on it, like scooping out really frozen ice cream.

My husband and I agree that for the $25 for an EIGHT serving set, it is well worth the money. We actually bought two sets for our everyday use, and have not had any problems.

I just want to add to existing reviews that this product looks differently in real life than it appears on the picture in Amazon item description. It is not made of silver nor has silver coating, just pale plain stainless steel.

I give 3 stars only because description is misrepresented - this is not real silver looking as shown on the picture.
