Product Description

Product Description

The first of the International Track & Field series made its debut in upright arcade machines in the mid-1980s. Back then, players would often perform a handy trick to maximize their performance. By using pencils or Popsicle sticks that were placed between their fingers, gamers could get more action on the buttons to make their Olympians run faster.

And now, a decade or so later, you'll be looking for ways to get that faster footing and that extra "oomph" for your athletic endeavors. More than just pounding your feet against the clay, you will have to develop your track star from a young collegiate trying to qualify for the state finals to a seasoned athlete vying to represent his or her country. Ultimately, you'll become a decathlete struggling for the gold. And to do this, you'll have to train in various contests, such as shot put, high jump, and the 100-meter dash. International Track & Field has plenty of button-slapping fun for the whole family.

This game is good but it should have more. The events sometimes get boring. I would recomend for fans of Track and Fields.
