This was a gift from my sister that was on my wish list.

The luggage was beautiful to look at and the functionality would have been great I'm sure.

I unpacked it and stored it in my clothes closet looking forward to being able to use it, a day later after going into my closet there was this horrible gasoline type smell, it was coming from the luggage, so I kept the closet door open thinking the smell would dissapate over time, it never did.

I took the luggage out of the closet and kept it on an open area for a week but the smell was still over powering, it was unliveable that way and would have made anything it came in contact with get the same smell, like your clothes on a trip!

Sadly, I sent it back and was sent a return shipping label and got credited right a way.
I was really happy with the way the company handled the return and wish the luggage hadn't had that terrible smell to it, the luggage was made well and would have been great otherwise.

I think that it was a petroleom based product and that is why it smelled so bad.
