4.0 out of 5 stars very informative
I and my younger son are collectors of International pickups. We found this book to be very informative about the light trucks of International Harvester. The information was based on improvements made to each model year and material about how well each model sold. An good companion book would be International Trucks (CRESTLINE) by F.W.Crismon

4.0 out of 5 stars An excellent history of International's light line, October 9, 1998
This review is from: International Truck Color History (Paperback)
I found this book to be highly informative in the history of International's trucks. I was disappointed, however, that the author did not have the majority of the book focusing on the Scout. It was the Scout that is the most popular of IH's rigs but the author left a short section in the back about the Scouts. I was also disappointed that it did not have color pictures. Overall, the book is a great history and it includes some interesting old truck ads.

1.0 out of 5 stars International Truck Color History, April 2, 2011

It is just Light duty trucks throughout and basically skips through such an important history,I am aware that Heavy trucks was not Always the focus, but it should have not been subtitled to include them. It is still worth a read if your A IH fan but don't expect much.
