Editorial Reviews

From the Publisher

It's ironic. Most of us have an address book to record the addresses and telephone numbers of people we may only write or visit once every three years. And until now, with the publication of InternetBuddy Web Journal, there hasn't been an organized address book for websites we visit each week. This book was written to make its owner more organized and efficient in using the Internet. Use Internet Buddy and never forget a password again. And Internet Buddy also uses separate Security Cards for recording especially sensitive passwords and account numbers, such as to our financial sites, enhancing the security of access information to these sensiitive sites.

This Journal was written to make using the Internet more fun and efficient. One of the largest and best printers of address books and appointment calendars was chosen to print IntertnetBuddy Web Journal to insure quality the user can see and feel. The book is bound in Burgandy vinyl with Gold embossing, and it lays perfectly flat when open for ease of writing. Start using this book and notice the improvement in accessing your favorite websites.

From the Author

Before I wrote this book, my children and I were recording the passwords to our favorite sites on 3x5 cards scattered in desk drawers or across my desk top. I also heard complaints from co-workers about losing the names of favorite sites or forgetting passwords. I knew this book was needed by my family, and if so, by yours too!

I have bought several internet address books in the past. Regardless of quality, once it arrives, you are kind of stuck with it for something like this because it's just an address book. I've never liked a single one I've bought or looked at, and I've been forced to view internet address books as something I shouldn't be so picky about. Until now, that is! This very classy book is far, far superior to any other I've owned, has more useful features than I've ever encountered in this type of book before, and is so elegantly attractive and just the right size that this little book will always have a home on my desktop! The security card feature is an ingenious security feature for traveling, the writing space is compact, yet ample and very straigtforward to avoid unnecessary distractions, the "websites by subject" section is a nice bonus, and the shopping section is another nice add! I LOVE this book, and I will be giving it to all my family members who surf the web! Thanks for finally understanding the needs of a serious computer family!

This is a really handy book and here are my favorite features:
Spiral bound so it opens flat for easy writing.
Alphabetical organization by website name with sections for each letter of the alphabet. Many people keep their passwords on their computer somewhere, and these could be hacked. Keeping them on paper is safer.
Durable cover.
A decent amount of space for each entry, with helpful titles within each entry such as user name, password, phone number, PIN, notes.
The book even has suggestions for keeping the book secure from hacking. It is all very well thought out. It is worth paying the extra money over the other models, in my opinion. I liked it so much I am buying two more for gifts. I have been amazed at how many passwords I actually had once I started writing them all down!

This book helps me keep track of all my usernames and passwords for each different site I'm registered at. I used to record my Internet usernames and passwords on stickies all over my monitor and desktop. Now all of that information sits neatly on the shelf next to me. All of the sites I visit are listed alphabetically so retrieving information is quick and easy.
Before I started using this book, if I forgot my username or password, I had to register with a site again. I ended up having two or three different accounts at some sites. Also, I had only one or two passwords which I used again and agian. Now I can easily use a different password for each site I belong to.
This book is easy to use and is a fantastic organizational tool. You won't be disappointed.

This is exactly what I was looking for! Large section for Internet sites with fields for site name, user name, password, notes, and more! A section for Sites by Subject Areas, and also a section for Internet purchases which will be really handy as a reference for future purchases from a favorite site.

This book has really helped me organize all the websites and email addresses that were on slips of paper, or filling up my regular address book. Besides the traditional alphabetical section to fill in info. on websites, there is also a section called Sites by Subject and a section to record Internet purchases. It is a very handy book!

As it stands, this organizer does the job which is the main point of it. I like the quality and the size. However, there is room for improvement.

My first gripe is that there are not enough pages for some of the more used letters while the letters I,Q,X,Y and Z have more pages than they need. Recognizing that some letters are used more frequently and rectifying that would have made this more useful. I was out of room in "C" the first day.

My second gripe is that there are no letter tabs on the pages. You must search through the book each time which turns out to be very annoying. I solved this by buying my own tabs and adding them. That improved the functionality but doesn't look as good as if it had been made that way. I also resent having to do it myself.

This is a 3* book that could easily have been a 5* with a little extra effort. Unfortunate. I would try a different book next time.

I bought this, along with "the best little e-mail address & password organizer", at the same time. I use this one for all websites & passwords. Like other reviewers, I had passwords & usernames on sticky notes & in address books and this makes life so much easier and organized. This is a well-made book with lots of space for lots of information. I also use "the best little e-mail address & password organizer" with most of the same information, excluding bank account & credit card info, to take with me when I travel (because it is much smaller) and can go in a small purse if necessary.

This notebook is very easy to use and looks very discreet if you have it standing upright in a bookcase or faced down. It has enough space to write any website, screen name, etc. It doesn't have individual tabs for each letter, but that doesn't bother me since it's no biggie to me to simply thumb through the pages for 2 seconds until I find the letter I need.
