Excellent Coverage of the key issues in Internet Economics, July 31, 1998
By A Customer
This review is from: Internet Economics (Hardcover)
This book is a collection of articles based on a conference at MIT in 1995. Although many of the articles in this book are available over the web, this publication can save many, many hours of searching and download time.
Content wise, much of the book focuses on issues relating to pricing schemes for the internet. Although the data used in these articles will date quickly (and indeed already has) the theoretical pricing models explored are likely to be of increasing interest.
There is also some coverage of electronic commerce, but this book is probably going to be of most interest to those interested in the 'economic' analysis of the internet.
An informative and handy book which fills a void when it comes to print publications in this field.
