About the Author

F. Emmett Fitzpatrick, III is a shareholder in the law firm of F. Emmett Fitzpatrick, P.C., where he concentrates his practice in the areas of emerging technologies, international business transactions, corporate law, and real estate. He is also General Counsel to Wolfpack, Inc., an Internet Service Provider in Philadelphia.

Mr. Fitzpatrick is admitted to practice in the states of Pennsylvania, California, and New Jersey. He received his Juris Doctor degree from Villanova University School of Law in 1985, and his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from the University of California, San Diego in 1982.

Mr. Fitzpatrick is an avid proponent of Internet technologies. His pioneering efforts include having created the first Web sidte of any law firm in the Philadelphia area and having developed one of the first commercial Internet Service Provider companies in Poland. He has advised Internet-related businesses in both the United States and Europe, and he frequently lectures about Internet, electronic commerce, and security issues.
