5.0 out of 5 stars The internet is big, really big, really really big, October 28, 2011
This review is from: Internet Explorer 6 for Dummies (Paperback)
By now I'm guessing you have heard of this thing everyone is talking about, the internet? Well, just in case you haven't, there is this thing out there called the internet and you can access it from your computer or some people can actually access it through their telephone! How crazy is that? Anyway, it's out there and it has a lot of information on it, that is why it is sometimes referred to as "The Information Super Highway". Well, now that you've heard about it right here, you probably want to know how to get there, am I right?

First you should probably buy a PC, short for Personal Computer, or you can buy a laptop or something, I don't really care. However, you can't go exploring out yet, you need access to the internet through a provider of some sort. Sound confusing? Of course it is, because you're a dummy. That's why you need to buy this book. It's a scary world out there in cyberspace (which is yet another word that is sometimes used to refer to this internet thing). You can try to get by without this book but you'll probably just get all frustrated and throw your self out the closest window. The first thing you'll do is open explorer and think, wow how handy! I have the internet all categorized all nice and neat in some manila file folders, yay! That's not the internet, you need to open Internet Explorer, and there you are, staring at some screen with crap written on it and having no idea what to do next. Well, stop fretting and buy this book and then you'll be just like the rest of us!

Oh look, it's a bunny with a pancake on it's head....see, you have no idea what I'm talking about right? Get the book, dummy.

1.0 out of 5 stars DOES NOT HELP WITH 7.O, April 10, 2007
This review is from: Internet Explorer 6 for Dummies (Paperback)
My Netscape stopped working so I bought this book, even though I have Explorer 7.0. There is no help for 7.0. The mail system sucks and I really, really, really, hate this program! If anyone has a better plan of attack please let me know...............

Good luck!!
