I ordered this book as part of a larger effort by my firm to modernize our internet presence. We now have a social media presence on all of the major sites (Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.), and we've seen an uptick in client referrals through these sites. This book was generally useful for insuring that our initial foray into social media was at least somewhat sophisticated. The information was dense in some places, but it was still understandable.

Format: Paperback Verified Purchase
This book provides a very good 'click-by-click' guide to establishing a quick, cost-effective Internet presence. The blueprint presented in Chapter 1 is helpful, as is centering your marketing efforts around a single action item. The author cleverly uses links to his site to ensure references to other sites remain accurate. Doing so preserves the value of this book as a reference guide in the very dynamic Internet world.

The book is technical in nature, primarily focusing on HOW to use Internet tools. The emphasis on using keywords provides some information on WHAT to include in your content. However, if your primary interest is in content (What) over structure (How), additional resources will be needed.

This book was pretty good, but left me wishing for more information. As an introduction, it is good. But for intermediate information, I need to look elsewhere.

I am very satisfied with this book. It really goes indepth on how to set up accounts and utilize the functions on all social media. I feel as though I have become an expert dealing with LinkedIn and YouTube since I couldn't accomplish anything prior. Atleat not what I've been able to do now. For me, the tutorials on each of these sites are basic and a book like this is needed to shed more information for my particular field. Thank you for giving us this option ... it's been used well.
