It's especially annoying when someone with an audience of experts, authors and speakers doesn't take the time (or expense) to proofread their book. (For example: "This book is organized into six, easy-to-read chapters" - actually the book only has four; "I'm the voice reason in the sea of hype"; and "Gangman style" for the viral video that is actually "Gangnam style.") Sorry to be petty, but such mistakes get in the way of taking in the content.

And while this book contains a lot of useful warnings, know that it uses a large font and 7 of the 120 pages are blank.

I've seen 95% of these scams. Now I've been online forever, and many of them I now recognize as scams, and many I always did (if it's too good to be true . . .).

Somethings I've learned the hard way however. No, I haven't been scammed bigtime myself, although certainly I know many people who have. However the "Stop Lying to Yourself" and "What They 'Forgot' to Tell You About Marketing Tactics" chapters would have saved me countless hours and endless grief if I had known about them years ago.

I literally see some of these scams everyday.
Do yourself a favor: It's a quick read - you should read it.

I was a speaker on the internet marketing circuit with Dan for many years. More than most speakers and marketers are honest. But I saw, heard, and experienced the many others, those that Dan has written about. Trust me when I say, he didn't make this up, it actually happened and is still happening. Big time. We would explain to the wannabes how to spot those that played the buyers. Many understood, thanking us before they gave up their credit cards, or those that canceled their orders. But people, being human, want to be part the group. They want to believe that they will rise above the crowd. That's what the liars and scam artists counted on. The price of Internet Marketing Confidential is a small investment compared to the amount of money you would lose if you don't believe what Dan shows and tells. Spread the word. Down with the scammers and liars! Thank you Dan for your courage to blow this whistle. Raleigh R. Pinskey

Dan writes a to-the-point book on the BS out there. Read this Book and avoid the time wasters and scammers.

I get the same calls and emails my fellow speakers, authors and consultants receive - these so-called "opportunities." Many are scams, but some are not. Dan Janal's book helps us figure out who is trying to pick our pockets versus help grow our businesses. It is an important read!
