This review is from: Internet Web Pages with JavaScript (Spiral-bound)
This book is designed for anyone who wants to learn HTML from the ground up. It needs no special programs-- just a text editor and an Internet browser (no live connection necessary). The exercises start with an explanation of the simplest HTML tags, and proceed on an interactive basis with the user. The middle sections deal with page necessities -- graphics, links, layout -- and by the end, the user can feel confident in using tables and frames as well. The final 45 pages deal with JavaScript (but not Java) in an entertaining and tutorial manner. This is a great book for intermediate or senior students, or anyone else wanting to understand just how web pages work.
