I have Norton Internet Security 10 running on 3 computers with a mix of XP, Vista and Windows 7 on Dell and HP Desktops and Laptops. Some were upgraded from NIS 2009 and some are fresh installs. All have worked flawlessly. 1 Year Protection for 3 PCs with 5 GB of Secured Online Storage. What a great deal!

I ordered this item and it was exactly as promised. I made an error on my ship to address, wrote to CD Rom and they were great!! I now have another package that came to me sooner than expected. I love this seller!! The NORTON for the Netbook was easy to install with the uSB Drive. It was so simple to install on 2 Netbooks so far. Norton has been a great buy for us. Will definetely come back to this seller and Norton again. THANK YOU!!!

I'm pretty technologically illiterate, but I think this software is great. Once installed, it found a few hidden viruses on my netbook and got rid of those fast. Since then it has been like a steel wall protecting my netbook: viruses try to attack but they can only bounce off! I also like how it self-updates, how it lets you know the name of the virus, how it shows infection statistics (how commmon or rare the particular threat is), and how it keeps logs of the threats that it's averted and/or destroyed. One subscription protects three computers at once, so I think this software was a good deal for the money, especially since--at the time that I ordered it--it was a bit cheaper on Amazon (and came with free shipping!) than on other big computer store sites.

First, it should be noted that I went back to Norton with some hesitancy. Since about 2007, I've been using BitDefender because my last experience with Norton had been unpleasant--significant machine burden, lockups and incompatibilities of one sort or another.Having said that, I was determined to change products for this next year because BitDefender now suffers from similar issues. It was constantly updating, locking up the machine (P4 class, 1.5GB of RAM, ~2.5GHz processor, XP Pro). Worse, the BitDefender tech support, in my opinion, is completely inadequate. Before they will hardly answer a question, you've got to run this stupid diagnostic tool which apparently collects a bunch of info about your machine and sends it to them. I tried this about once and again, it just locked up the machine so a reboot was the only escape. So, against this backdrop, I reluctantly tried Norton, based on recent reviews that said that the machine loading had been greatly improved. And, in fact, I've been pleasantly surprised. It seems to manage updates and scan pretty effectively, doing a lot of that housekeeping when the machine is idle. It's really been like a "night and day" difference between Norton and BitDefender. So, at this time, I would say that the change has been completely successful and satisfactory for me.

Norton Netbook edition is a well-known and effective anti-virus program. It's fairly easy to setup and configure although it can wreak havoc on some specialized drivers, e.g. Windows Sideshow (USB) drivers and also Nvidia display drivers. I recommend creating a restore point before installing and even a separate registry backup as well. Knowing which dll's are loaded (registered) helps, too, if you have any issues you need to resolve.

Received the wrong product. However, the process for returning was easy. Already sent in review once so I am downgrading this opinion.
