About the Author
Dr. Rosemary Black has been involved in the fields of tour guiding and interpretation for over ten years, as both an industry professional and an academic. She has taught interpretation and tour guiding in Australia and throughout the the world. Dr. Black is currently Lecturer in Interpretation and Tour Guiding, Charles Stuart University, Australia. Over the past ten years, Dr. Betty Weiler has become a world leader in ecotour guide research and guide training as a means to sustainable tourise development. She is well-known for her research and writing in educational travel and interpretation, and has published over 100 journal articles and book chapters.
