Erik Olin Wright is the is the C. Wright Mills Professor of Sociology at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and Director of the Havens Center for the Study of Social Structure and Social Change. He is the author of Classes, Class, Crisis and the State, and, with Andrew Levine and Elliott Sober, Reconstructing Marxism.
