I was hoping for more.. and also confused. I am a new IC lady.. as I was going through the pages.. I kept coming across items like "canned mushroom soup" etc.. Doesn't canned soup have additives? Things we should stay away from? another was mixed berries.. From what I have learned blueberries and pears are the safest.. with cantaloupe being a "try it out" food. I was really hoping for recipes with all SAFE FOOD... not having to worry..Im just glad this book didn't cost a bunch.

This book was very dissapointing! Its not worth the paper its printed on! Anyone suffering from IC would not benifit from a recipe calling for bladder unfriendly ingredients! Not to mention a recipe for tea! Boil water, add tea bag and some honey. I would love a full refund!

The problem with IC cookbooks is that you can only buy them online and have no idea what you are getting until you have paid for it. I found the recipes in this cookbook pretty uninspired. Some seemed only there to take up space...chamomile tea? turkey stock? garlic and oil broccoli? cucumber sandwich? honey butter? omelets? I know everyone's irritant list is different, but if onion is on yours, beware... much onion. Overall, if you were challenged in the kitchen before the IC, you might find the book helpful. If you already have a passion for cooking and are used to using a wide range of ingredients and flavor profiles, you will be underwhelmed. Get it on your kindle first.

This was a gift.
Many of the recipes include ingredients that are on the "avoid" list of foods.
Appreciate the variety of recipes, knowing that everyone has their own trigger foods.
