Deception,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)

On 5/16/2011 rookieangelbear (half.com by ebay) shipped me a book titled, "Intervention Strategies for Sexual Abuse." The book was written and published by Robert Rencken. As I had known the author, I wanted a new copy.The issue is that the company promoted the book as new and when I received it, it was not. The first page had the previous owners name scratched out in black magic marker. Pages 30,31,40,41,and 63 had black ink underlying. My definition of new is no makss or underlining on any page. The company included a note with $1 saying I hope that this is OK. I request that Amazon end this deception.
