5.0 out of 5 stars It Answered My Question About The Problem Of Evil
I believe in God, but I always wondered what He was doing when a child is beaten to death, or whether he took a coffee break when the Holocaust happened. Ariel's explanation of what we perceive as evil gave me peace, and a great sense of safety. I don't mean physical safety, because now I understand that it's not the point, but spiritual safety.

3.0 out of 5 stars Uninspiring
Doreen Virtue's books on angels are more inspiring. Also, Stuart Wilde, Dr. Wayne Dyer and Louise L. Hay's books/CDs are helpful too.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good read for skeptics and believers alike., July 21, 1999
By A Customer
The beginning of this book discusses such famous people as St. Theresa, and St. Catherine, and how angels have always been apart of our lives. The main focus is on the part where Linda asks Steven questions and receives the information from a spirit guide named Ariel. Whether you believe in other spiritual realms other than Earth, (Ariel describes that we all have a spiritual will and an ego;) you will find the advice truly empowering and truthful, even if you are extremely skeptical. Ariel answers the question from the heart and truly cares for our awareness and understanding of the God force. Ariel even speaks to the skeptics by saying that she does not want to say that anyone's ideas are wrong or incorrect, but that she only speaks of what she knows as correct. Ariel even says that it is God's way to have some people skeptical and some believers. Whether you believe Ariel or not, this book is a good read. I wanted to find places in the text where I could point out that this book was faked by a human, but I honestly couldn't find any places that did not make sense to me.

5.0 out of 5 stars Learn about the angels from an Angel!, August 10, 2000
I am an angel & spirit communicator, and the angels recommended that I read this book shortly after I began communicating with them. It contains powerful insights about our lives here on earth, and answers questions related to karma, death and immortality, love and relationships, and the course of human history. If you do not believe in angels, you may just change your mind after reading this book. A must-read for anyone on a spiritual path ( and even those who aren't!). Open your heart to the angels!

5.0 out of 5 stars Thought provoking and filled with love..., August 12, 1999
By A Customer
Thank you Ariel for sharing so much love and compassion with the readers of this book. Ariel is a being we call "angel" and she speaks to all of us on topics such as religion, history, reincarnation, karma, the universe and, of course, love. This book was a fascinating, quick read and I plan to keep it and refer to it on a regular basis.

5.0 out of 5 stars A turning point., March 3, 1999
By A Customer
"Interview with an Angel" was a turning point in my life. It helped me reach a point where I actually felt in my heart that someone is there, guiding me. This knowledge helped me through difficult times and gave me the courage to make a career change and return to school. I'm still not a religious person, but because of this book, I've become more of a spiritual person. I find myself now wanting more and I even joined a church.

Rings true. Has a certain power to it, but left me wanting in the end. Seems like that happens almost every time to me with books of this type. Any book that leaves you hungry has value, but precious few leave you with an outlet or direction for that hunger, and this one is no different. Or perhaps I'm making excuses, or making the mistake of looking outward for direction, instead of inward. I already know I make that mistake. It's not so much that I'm looking for the perfect authority figure, just writings that inspire and lead me somewhere. I'm going to the Ramtha materials next, maybe I'm ready for that now.

5.0 out of 5 stars Profoundly Honest, Loving, Nurturing, and Empowering, April 3, 1997
By A Customer
The Interviewer goes to the heart of your most naggingquestions and seeks answers to things we have all prayed and agonizedover and thought we were not heard. "Ariel's" answers are unexpectedly powerful, loving, graceful, patient, empowering, nurturing, insightful beyond words. Finding this book honestly feels like a personal gift from God and the loving consciousness of this realm of creation that works so hard to share thier love with our souls. I am not finished reading the book and I am already overwhelmed with love, ectasy, joy, gratitude and oneness.

5.0 out of 5 stars A must-read for anyone intrigued by metaphysical exploration, March 27, 1998
By A Customer
The ability to hear messages from within, from a higher power, is referred to as experiencing inner voices. This very real and often very relevant phenomenon is the subject of a new, exciting and surely insightful book entitled Interview with an Angel. The introduction to this excellent work is by award-winning psychologist Alfred S. Alschuler, Ph.D. He explores and details the importance of the inner voices of people from Moses to Shirley MacLaine, lending appropriate background and support to this most enlightening work."In January 1994, Dr. Linda Sue Nathanson, a research psychologist seeking a medical alternative met Rev. Stevan Thayer, a holistic practitioner and developer of Integrated Energy Therapy (IET). At times during their IET sessions, Stevan entered a self-induced, altered state of consciousness and spoke in a voice not his own, offering knowledge beyond his experience," we learn.Interview with an Angel offers 153 questions posed to Ariel (Thayer¹s inner voice/angel) and the responses that changed the authors' lives, mine and perhaps yours, too. The subject matter is as diverse as life's experiences...from marriage and divorce to death, homosexuality, extraterrestrial life, heaven and hell, and yes, God. On the subject, for instance, of the negative effect humans are having on the health and longevity of our planet, Ariel says "The planet you are dwelling on is quite capable of defending itself and will defend itself if brought to a point of endangerment."There are many adjectives that describe Interview with an Angel. Captivating, enthralling, humorous, optimistic, provocative, inspiring and nourishing, are some. These words seem, to this reviewer, to be inadequate, not quite reaching the mark. Interview with an Angel, in this reviewer's opinion, is a must-read for anyone intrigued by metaphysical exploration. And once you've read it, you too, will have difficulty finding the words that say enough about this fine work!

5.0 out of 5 stars Expansion from the messages in Conversation With God, February 23, 2012
By
F. C. Chan (Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
I follow Conversations With God books by Neale Donald Walsch and I found this book an alternative affirmation. I love it. I get to different affirmation of the same thing. I am rapturous.

You can take the book's meaning on written English words literally and Ariel will advice you how to approach the messages. Example, you will find occasional references to soul experience and the relative. To visualize the soul quality of plants and animals. You will find an account of experience after life. However, the explanations also speak at additional layer for me. The conversation is esoteric.

There are two ways to worship God, according to Ariel. With ego, elaboration and manifestations are implemented as rituals. The other way is worship in communion and gratitude. My comment is that with discernment in this state, manifold wisdom and treasuries are granted. After you finish the book, bear in mind you may continue your relationship and bring your own question and answer to Ariel. The arch angels affirms they are alongside with you beyond the book's pages.

This book can be regarded as treatise on faith and is for seeker on path of heart and love. The messages here may sound strange for those firm-to-stay on other paths. For esoteric, with your experience and confidence don't be distracted. Like crystal and way of uninterrupted light, messages and meanings are similarly consumed in duality (even).
