From the band discussing the circumstances that led to the death of Chris Burton in 1985, to a frank description of their show at San Quentin prison in 2003 at which the video for St. Anger was recorded, and from a playful discussion on German television with the entire group, to a humbled James Hatfield talking of his addictions and recovery programme, this disc is all at once enlightening, inspiring and entertaining and is a fitting tribute to a band who have eclipsed virtually all the competition over almost 3 decades.
