Ok....needed replacement filters. One thing about these filters (as well as ANY other filter cartridges, I found out) is that it will not filter fine silt while you are vacumming up the bottom of your pool. (This consists of dead algea, tree/plant pollen, etc.) We had some branches overhanging the pool and had them removed. In the process....fine dirt and debis went into the water and settled on the bottom of the pool. When vacumming.....you could see this fine silt coming back into the pool via the output from the filter. THe filter caught most of the stuff....but not all. A day later...the stuff settled...and again....vacumming would just go through the filter and back in the pool....clouding it up. "No chemicals will work"...the pool guy said. "You have to empty the pool". Well....all I did was disconnect the output hose from filter pump from the side of the pool and layed it on the ground. I then vaccummed the pool...and all the silt and debris went on the ground instead of back in the pool. I only lost about an inch of water....as it only took about 5 minutes....and the result was night and day. A simple solution to a problem that was bugging me for over a week.

INTEX IMPORTS 59900E EASY SET POOL REPLACEMENT FILTER TYPE A (PACK OF 6)This product saved my life i use the a filters for the intex above the ground pool. This is my first pool. I am 45 years young ha. I bought my first filters from walmart for 3.96 for two. I used them memorial day weekend there were 6 people in the pool. After the weekend doing my (evert 2 week filter change)I noticed that the filter was very nasty. ugg. So i ordered the intex filter from this company. I now use this product every week like clock work. Note<using oil products will mess up youre pump if you do not change youre filters once a week>

The filters work great in our Intex pool. The type A filters will last us a good 2-3 weeks before needing to be replaced. Normally I had been picking these up at Walmart for 7 bucks a piece until I found this deal. Out of the various compatible filters available for our pool this particular one has proved to provide the best quality and longevity. Also I think I we are now averaging about $2.50 per cartridge. Woot!

By the end of July my local Walmart was out of these filters for my Easy Set pool, as was Target. So I went online and was able to purchase them at a lower cost than I had been paying at either store. These filters came within the week and have worked great ever since I began using them. I bought 12 so they shall get me through this summer. (I use one a week when my grandchildren are here everyday) You can bet I will be buying them this way, next year!

I like this product it is a good pool filter for the price lasts a long time w\out needing replaced holds up can be cleaned for a repeat use and still work well.

6 real intex filters at a great price.what more do you need to know? Dont hesitate to buy.You wont find a cheaper price and you will use them (if you have an intex pool!) through-out the summer!

I have used other filter brands rather than Intex. Hwr it seems like to me that you can wash the filter Many times compared to the other brands and the quality is better as well.

The pump requirements were to replace a filter @ least once a month. Well this filter lasted the full month, could've gone for another week or so, dare I say.
It's a great value sold as a 6-pack on here.You will not find Intex A type filters for this price anywhere else.

We set up our pool every year and actually have our pump connected to one of those saltwater converter systems. Works great together. At the beginning of the season, I bought the off brand at a local store and they didn't fit right and were only lasting a couple days before seemingly becoming clogged up and prevent water from flowing properly. Received these and put it in right away; it fit great and everything is working fine. The funny part is these are cheaper than the off brand bought at the local store. I will look to this package every summer.
