Intex Type-A Filter Cartridge

Fits well, installs easily, etc... A great product. HOWEVER, pool filters do NOT need to be replaced every week!! A standard cartridge filter can last for 6 months, or more if maintined properly. Usually, when servicing a filter, you can take a nozzle on your hose, and thoroughly hose off the filter pleats (all of them!), and reuse the cartridge. If it's a little grody, use a bit of chlorine bleach to clean it up.

I am only able to purchase generic filters in my local stores, and they cost twice as much as these do. The generic ones don't fit perfectly, and when they get a little dirty the pressure on the filter motor goes down to almost nothing, the official Intex ones do not. These are really good value and can be re-used when sprayed off with the hose, which makes them double in value.

I don't know why this is listed as a toy, but that needs to be fixed. It is a good price for the filter I use. I'm not the type to clean out filters every year, I like to replace them instead. This is exactly the filter I needed, I only needed one and the price is comparable to the supercenters in my area, and the returns are hassle-free if you order the wrong one like I did last year.

We love our intex pool and while they tell you its fine to rinse and reuse the filter for a time or two...I do not recommend that. They never really get clean and work like brand new. For the price on Amazon and the fast shipping buy enough and never have to worry for the summer. I change mine weekly to maintaina sparkly pool its easy, they came packaged great and If I knew this easy to put up pool (I did get the pool very cheap at walmart though... easy as a snap to do..you just need two people)I would have bought one years ago.

Perfect filter for my above ground vinyl pool, sorry to day the filter out lived the pool, but good filter.

this is a filter for a 2500 gallon and up filter and it never clogged or got too dirty. easy to hose off and lasted the whole summer!!

We have been buying our pool filters from WalMart. When all the local stores were out, we turned to Amazon. I'm SO glad we did because these filters are much better made and last much longer than the ones from the store. We're going to have to make sure we stock up before next summer!
