Product Description

Amazon.com

This colorful, inflatable, rugged vinyl pool gives you four different activities in one. In one corner of the 90-by-90-inch pool, kids can slide down a gentle water slide, using tough rubber handles at the top to steady themselves. Right next to the slide, they can pick up a game of water hoops with two plastic balls that pop into a kid-size inflatable basket. Diagonally across from the slide, blow-up walls cordon off a separate square wading pool that is perfect for tots you want to keep a close eye on. But the pool's neatest feature (which will no doubt get lots of attention) hooks right up to your garden hose: it's a 2-foot-tall palm tree that sprays a shower onto the pool's giggling inhabitants. --Paul Hughes

The good: very very durable.

I would recommend this for kids 5 and under, and since mine is worn clear out, I'm buying another one for this summer!

The palm tree kept leaning outside the pool.

I fell in love with this pool the minute I saw it sitting on the shelf. Once I got it home I was disappointed about how long it took to inflate. There are many seperate chambers to inflate. I spent an entire day pumping this pool full of air! Once I had everything set up my son fell in love with the pool. He really enjoyed the sprinkling palm tree and the cute basketball game. He needed assistance with the slide since there is no way up it except to climb. Overall we had lots of fun with this pool. I really like the soft air filled sides just in case he falls but I did not enjoy inflating the pool. Happy swimming!

Like everybody else, I loved the idea the moment I saw this pool sitting on the shelf. I could see that there are many different chambers to fill with air so I was not too disappointed about the time it takes to inflate. But I became disappointed very fast when non of the chambers would hold the air. That would normally not be a big deal but in the case of the pool it is. There are a basketball ring and a palm tree. Both pieces need to be full with air to be useful. In my case they just dangled around and made the pool look somewhat unhappy. Also, the pool is not easy to drain and when you pick it up it starts ripping all over. There are so many seams on this pool and each one is a potential leak. After only 3 days of gentle use by one two-year-old, the pool had 4 rips and tears and was useless as a pool. I decided to patch the holes with tape and now use the pool as a ball pit. That's still plenty of fun for my toddler. I am disappointed. It is a wonderful idea but it needs a lot of improvement. Currently I would not suggest buying this pool; there are more durable pools for less money on the market.

I too was very happy and excited to get it home and fill it with water to only find once half the water was in the pool there was a rip in one section...we taped it. There are many chambers to fill with the air and that does take quite a bit of time. Of course the twins couldnt wait to get in and play and the water coming from the palm tree they loved that. The slide was barely used except to kinda try and sneak up it from the bottom and go back down. I did think you would be able to have more water in the pool but I should have realized its a *playground* type pool....enough to get wet and play too. Its a cute idea but I see room for improvement and as of now I wouldnt advise on buying one. My twins were 2 1/2 then and the fun didnt last very long.

I was very disappointed. It takes forever to inflate that you just let the kids in the pool since the sun starts going down. The palm trees were flopping over... some chamber walls were marginally inflated so that when water was added, it just ran over the edge. My recommendation is to buy a hard rim pool. Never again for an inflatable. It's in the garbarge now.

I was very skeptical of buying this pool based on the reviews but I did because I knew my kids would love it. We blew up the whole pool with an electric airpump it took about 15 minutes. My 7 year son and 2 year daughter played in it for two days for hours not one hole, rip, or chamber losing air. They had so much fun that if the pool fell apart today it was worth purchasing. When we drained it there was a little bit of water left in that we emptied out with cups and then when it was light enough we turned it over, no rips or tears. It is still sitting there fully inflated after three days. My husband and I agree it is definately a great buy and if it only lasts two weeks we know our kids enjoyed it.

We bought this pool last year for my daughter's birthday party. It lasted the entire 2.5 hour party with ten 3-5 year old's putting it to the test. That was June and it lasted all summer. We finally trashed it in September. We used a airpump to fill the pool and it took about 45 minutes total. The slide was a huge hit. We are definately considering purchasing another for this year!

I am a mother of 2 and my neighbor and I both purchased the same pool the same weekend. We fell in love with it when we saw it in the paper and just had to go get one. The kids also loved it after the hours it took to blow it up. It is true that it has many different air chambers and they don't hold air very well. The kids had fun the first 2 hours that we played in it, they were 3 and 4 at the time, But unfortunately, the quality of the pool construction was so bad that it took longer to blow it up than it actually lasted. I immediately took it back and got an exchange thinking that maybe the one I had purchased was defective, only to find that the second one lasted only a few hours longer than the first. By the end of the weekend, my neighbor and I had both thrown each of our pools away. They were just bright decorations in the trash. I bet the trash men the next day were wondering what happend. I do not recommend this item. It looks like a good idea, but needs much work to make it more durable.

The good: very very durable. Our yard is covered in pecan shell parts and this pool has yet to get a tear in the bottom. The slide is very fun, my son loved that the most. The handles are well attached. The bad: a real pain in the neck to inflate, many ports to inflate, and the palm trees and basketball hoop don't stay inflated for more than a day or 2. It is almost impossible to clean because there are so many corners and crannies for grass, etc to hide when emptying. Very diffcult to fully empty, so it becomes a big mosquito farm. Impossible to store unless you deflate. We did have several tears in the sides probably from cats or racoons in the yard at night, which is why you may need to store. We ended up using the smaller pool as a sand box and the larger part of the pool for water. We used commercial pool chemicals to eliminate the mosquito probem.
