Intex 15 Ft. Easy Set Above Ground Swimming Pools

I bought this pool last summer, followed all directions, kept the pool in sparkling condition, but when I went to use it this year, it has sprung three leaks so far! I contacted Intex, and they said, "We can't guarantee that the vinyl won't crack or split when it's exposed to sunlight"!!!! Oh, I didn't realize that I was supposed to set up this pool inside! Give me a break! I will NEVER purchase another Intex product if this is the kind of quality and customer service they provide. BUYER BEWARE. . . .

We have only had the pool for 3 days, but so far we LOVE it. It was very easy to set up! This pool was a great price because it comes with a ladder, filter, tarp for the ground, pool cover, skimmer and vacuum for the pool. Even though the 10' pool is much less expensive, I don't think it comes with all of these extras. We're looking forward to using the pool a lot this summer. I will be able to lay on a raft while by kids swim. It will also be a great way to teach my 3 & 5 year old to swim as they will still be able to touch the ground and not be so intimidated. I'm looking forward to a fun summer.

We are on are 2nd easy set 15 foot pool. Our other pool lasted two seasons and then the top ring had some leaks. This has been a great purchase for our now 4 and 7 year olds. Be sure and keep an extra filter on hand and soak in bleach water when not in use and run the pump 24 hours a day in order to keep the water maintained. You need to check the chlorine daily and add chemicals; we use a local pool store to give me directions on how to keep the water clear and safe.
I would recommend this pool to everyone. The only draw back . . . Being the 3rd year in putting up, it takes about 2 hours and some sand in order to get it level. If you do not get it level and you have active children, the top ring will flip over and cause a huge waterfall effect. Take the time to level.

We have had a lot of problems with this pool. This is the second year we have it, but the air valve on the ring is starting to wear down and I worry it will fail and the pool will be useless because of this one little part. Also, there is such a waste of room with the sides going out so far, but you can't swim in that area. So the pool is much smaller, and much shallower, than we thought it would be. The pump does not do a good job of cleaning the pool. We will definitely get another type of pool when this one dies on us. You don't get any support from the manufacturers either.

I purchased this pool last year and was very happy I did. My 1 year old loved learning swimming basics in it and we loved cooling off in it. It was big enough my family and our neighbors. The only minor disappointment was the depth which I thought was 3ft, not 2ft. But still worth it and even safer for little ones. It was pretty easy set up, just don't waste your breath - use an electric air pump. It was also nice to take down so we could make room for our winter icerink!

We bought this pool only to find that unless you have a PERFECTLY level surface, the pool will be a problem. Also, an animal ate through the bottom, so it only lasted a few months.

What can i say...this pool is a lot of fun for kids and parents. It's a great starter pool however, you do need to keep up on the chlorine and PH levels. You can purchase the chlorine tablets and a PH testing kits from any local pool dealer.... Make sure you do this, or you will have kids with ear infections and cloudy water. Also, it did take 4 hours to fill up the pool, so make sure you have an afternoon free. Otherwise, the pool is a blast and big enough for two adults and three kids. I highly recommend this pool and hope you have tons of fun too.

This is a very good pool for your family if you don't have the money or space for an inground pool. My kids love it and it has given us a chance to teach our 2 year old to swim. It does take a long time to set up. We had to do it twice because we thought we had it level until we filled it and the sand settled.

The Easy Set Pool is a great Pool for new pool owners to learn the basics of a pool and proper care. Yes the Ground must be Level as much as possible. Otherwise with a small incline your pool could possibly tip over and water would gush out on the side that is not level. And I don't think sand would help because Intex has told me that Putting sand under the pool will cause the pool to shift over and cause it to be more unlevel. The pump on the pool works great when used properly. Misuse or handleing could cause damage to the pump unit. Always change the filter cart. after two weeks to three weeks of usage. ALWAYS USE CLOSE ADULT SUPERVISION WHEN A CHILD OR SOMEONE THAT DOSN'T KNOW HOW TO SWIM IS IN AND AROUND THE POOL. Also when you blow up the ring, it is best to use a small hand pump with the right size nozzle on the tip and not an air compressor. Intex told me when I first purchased the pool not to use and air compressor due to the fact that it may put too much air pressure on the seam and cause it to break. And because I have followed their instuctions I been getting about 200 precent out of my pool with complete satisfaction. I have talked to Intex whenever I encounter a slith problem and they help me with 150% Satisfaction, one thing to keep in mind is that Policy is Policy, if policy procedures aren't followed people could get in trouble.The only thing The manufacture can't help you with is chemical use. Why? Because they informed me that they don't make chemicals and they are not certified in chemicals and they tell me that people get upset about that. I mean its only common sense would you ask a little kid on how operate a Commerical Airliner, No You would ask someone with the proper training and background on how to Operate a plane. Anyhow this pOOL is Fantastic, My two sons and Daugther love this pool, I know it is not going to last forever if my kids and their freinds keep coming over and and using it every chance they get =). But atleast they are enjoying it now, that they are young. When they get older I plan on getting a bigger size pool

My dtr and I set this pool up in no time. It was great fun for us last summer. Durable enough for her to run across the yard and jump over the soft walls into. The filter pump did not clean as well as I had hoped, but being new to owning a pool, I am sure this summer we will get the balance right on chlorine! A high quality product for the price, well enjoyed by my 12 yr old!
