Not the best option,

I bought this product and Coleman's. Coleman's is better in my opinion; it has much better pattern, which allows one to sleep better, and user friendly system of letting the air out. It took me 1 minute to let the air out of Coleman, and 20 minutes of hard work to get it out of this. They are both somewhat uncomfortable, but this one a lot more so due to highly anti ergonomic pattern. The positive side of it is a better air pump.

this bed takes only ten to fifteen minutes to inflate (not hard work) and I had absolutely no problem letting the air out within two minutes. i didn't notice any leakage at all yet either.
it is attractive and as comfrotable as i imagine an airbed can be, though the pillows are kind of worthless and do leak for some reason. it's not luxury but it's a great value. don't waste money on an electric pump. this one does the job.

We bought 2 queen airbeds and pillows mainly for camping purposes, but also to have when family comes for a visit and bringing their kids. So far we have used the airbeds only for camping. We are very pleased with them. They are truly "queen" size and my husband and I shared one and we had plenty of room each.
Pumping up each mattress took about 10 minutes using the included hand pump and my husband broke into a slight sweat while pumping them. I don't like my mattress hard so he didn't pump it up to full capacity. The air pillow just wasn't very comfortable to use, it's better than nothing but we all tossed them and used regular pillows instead. My husband didn't much like the deep grooves (big tubes) which formed the airbed mattress, but it didn't bother me. I kind of liked it because I could lay with my bony backbone between the round tubes and in the deeper grooves and found it rather comfortable. We did not notice any air leakage from the beds. My husband and I shared one airbed while our 2 kids shared the other. They seemed to be as full the next morning as they were when initially pumped. The airbed material seems durable enough, but I would lay something extra underneath them if they are to be placed on a surface with rocks underneath. We camped out in our backyard in a tent on a relatively cold evening. It got down to around 45 degrees F. The mattresses of course radiated the cold from the ground right up to us so a few blankets on top of the mattress helped with that. And we let our dog sleep in the tent with us. She's an Eskimo Spitz with a lot of fur. She didn't sleep on the airbeds but beside them and the airbeds collected a good bit of her hair, but that is really no problem. (We're used to her hair being everywhere anyway.) Deflating the airbeds was fairly painless. Once the plug was pulled and after some basic squashing of the airbeds was done, it was easy to roll them up somewhat tightly to get the remaining air out of them. We plan on using them while camping a lot more this summer and if they turn out to be failures I will certainly update this review. But for now, I am pleased with them and feel we made a good purchase. UPDATE: 6/30/09 We went on a week-long camping trip last week and used the airbeds the entire time. They worked out perfectly. Maybe some air loss by the end of the week but not enough to be a problem. They were very comfortable to sleep on especially when a flat sheet was placed on top of them. The only thing protecting them on the underside was the tent floor and a tarp. They had no sign of damage whatsoever. I highly recommend these airbeds for camping purposes. The pillows however, were not very good but still usable if lightly inflated.

This mattress + 3 inches of cheap, low density memory foam = bliss
If you put a cheap, low density memory foam pad on a normal mattress, it does not support you and you end up lying on the hard, uncomfortable mattress beneath. But this mattress, because it's filled with air, behaves more like a waterbed, allowing you to sink into it and thus be more throughly surrounded by the memory foam on top. This mattress is not hard if you don't overfill it. I think the combination of this with memory foam is a great idea. I cannot speak for how comfortable it is without memory foam. The pump that came with this is useful. It's made of strong and durable plastic. It filled the mattress pretty quickly. It comes with 3 ends for fitting different sized air input valves.

We bought this for a last minute attempt at camping. Although some murderous hobo thwarted our camping experience, the bed was easy to fill up, let out, pack up, and use again. The pillows are kind of a joke but the bed is super comfy and durable. We put a foam or feather topper because we're snobs but it's fine without. 6'3" Boy Fits.

I used this for one night on a camping trip, it worked out great, it was the most affordable mattress that came with a pump, the pump takes 10 minutes of pumping, and makes a wheezing sound the entire time, there is no need for vigourous pumping, just take it easy and ten minutes later you'll have a bed. it is not the size of a queen bed you have at home but it plenty big for two. I imagine that more expensive mattresses will provide a more comfortable night's sleep but this was adequate. HERE IS THE MOST IMPORTANT PART: it comes with two pillows, DO NOT ATTEMPT TO USE THESE AS PILLOWS. you will not be able to sleep on them, get a real camping pillow, bring your own, or use some soft clothes, these inflatable ones will haunt you all night. HOWEVER, they make Fantastic cushions for sitting on. also, the bed is heavy.

The mattress is extraordinarily comfortable. Possibly better than your bed at home. The flocked top surface prevents your slippery nylon sleeping bag from oozing off the edge as you sleep.
The large "Boston" valve is great for fast inflation and deflation. Prices are all over the place. Shop around. My family has 4 of these. The walls are pretty thick (14 mil), but I've had 1 or 2 small punctures over the years. Easily repaired with duct tape or the included patch material. (Make sure you bring it.) Get a heavy nylon stuff sack, so it won't get punctured during storage or transport. It's kind of heavy (9.5 lbs). Not a problem for car camping or in-home use. ** 12-18-2010: This review (and stated weight) is for the mattress only. My review somehow got moved over to the bundled mattress + pillow + pump product.

Item looks great. But check it out when you get it to see if it holds air. Went camping 5 weeks after we purchased this item. Wound up sleeping on the ground. Tried blowing it up several times. Was not a fun night. Used a spray bottle of soapy water in it to try to find the leak, Nothing. I guess the leak is to small to track. Mattress stays inflated for about 2 hrs, before you hit the ground. Return Policy 30 days on products sold on Amazom. Lesson learned! Check out each and every thing you buy, make sure there is a return policy available that suits your needs. Guess we are just out of the money, we will buy another at Walmart, even though I don't like doing business there, a no hassel return policy there for up to a year, can't beat that.

I bought this for a camping trip I am taking in May. After reading all of the reviews posted here, I made sure to test this out as soon as I received it. I realize that this is a forum for opinions, but I have to say this deserves no negative criticism whatsoever. Using the included hand pump, it took me 5 minutes to inflate fully. It is very comfortable to sleep on even without any sheets or a sleeping bag. I even broke out my sleeping bag and tried it out for a night on a hard wood floor. The anti-slip material held onto the sleeping bag and did not let it slide around on the mattress.
I left the bed inflated in the middle of my living room (much to the wife's dismay) and laid on it whenever I was watching TV. I never needed to add any additional air to it in three days time. When it came time to deflate, it was decompressed, folded up, and put away in five minutes. The pillows were more of a problem to deflate than the mattress. The pillows, by the way, work just fine and I found that if you stuffed them both into one pillow case, they worked even better. I will update this review after my camping trip, but for the money, I have to say that this is an excellent value, a comfortable bed, and is perfect for any family camping trips.

This is great for sleep overs. It is easy to both inflate, and deflate. The only negative is the smell of the plastic. It is overwhelming. When the kids sleep over, I put a sheet on the bed to help elminate the smell.
