5.0 out of 5 stars Terrific product, May 10, 2007

This review is from: Intex Comfort Bed - Rising Comfort Twin Airbed with built-in Electric Pump (Sports)
I sleep on this bed about 3 nights a week and love it. I ordered a twin size, but would order a larger size if I had it to do all over again. It inflated very quickly and I haven't had any problems with it whatsoever. I also wanted a bed that was raised several iches off the floor and this one is perfect for that. I bought an inexpensive set of twin sheets, put them on, and have been happily using the bed for the past month. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for an airbed.

I ordered 2 twin-size airbeds. The built-in pump worked great and inflated the beds quickly. Only 1 of the 2 beds lost enough air to be noticeable. My visitors told me the beds were uncomfortable, too small and noisy. I guess whenever they'd move around during the night the beds would make enough noise to actually wake each other up. They said they'd rather sleep on the floor next time. So, 2 of the stars are for not having weekend visitors for a while.

2.0 out of 5 stars holes in the seams, November 2, 2007
This review is from: Intex Comfort Bed - Rising Comfort Twin Airbed with built-in Electric Pump (Sports)
I have purchased 2 of these beds over 2. Intex makes great pools, so I thought it would be a great bed. the first one had holes ini it after being used for about a week. the second one had holes in 2 or 3 seams after my 60lb son slept on it for about a month. The holes can be fixed with cray glue, but once they start coming, they keep on coming. I am dissappointed that intex makes the seams so weak. Otherwise, it inflates quickly and is comfortable.

2.0 out of 5 stars Only good for 2 weeks, May 24, 2008
This review is from: Intex Comfort Bed - Rising Comfort Twin Airbed with built-in Electric Pump (Sports)
The pump is not very good, I actally got better results by using the pump that comes with Coleman's air matresses. I's good as a temporary solution but not longer that 2 weeks of continous use. The seams on the upper section start to open and air leaks out rapidly

5.0 out of 5 stars Easy, comfortable. Would recommend., April 7, 2008

I slept on this airbed for over a week and found it perfectly comfortable. It did not lose much air - I did reinflate twice but only because I like the matress firm and it had softened slightly. It was VERY quick to inflate and easy to deflate too. I did find it cold to sleep on (cold air rising up through the matress) but use a double duvet - sleep on one half and wrap the other half over you - or add a blanket etc under you and it's perfectly warm, cosy and comfortable. Would totally recommend it.

I used this bed myself for 2 weeks while my mother was visiting. It inflates quickly and stays inflated during use. I felt like I was sleeping on my own bed. It uses standard sheets, including fitted bottom sheet and, when fully made up passes for a real mattress & boxsprings bed. I highly recommend it.

2.0 out of 5 stars The Fatal Flaw, January 24, 2008

This review is from: Intex Comfort Bed - Rising Comfort Twin Airbed with built-in Electric Pump (Sports)
I've had an Intex bed like this for less than a month. I was impressed by how well the pump worked, its general ergonomics, and its comfort. But now it leaks, and I can't find the leak. So I can't use it, and judging from other reviews as well as what policies the various sellers and the manufacturer have, I'm screwed. So why would I buy another one? This isn't going to be a real business until somebody has a 100% lifetime guarantee. Then they'll sell tons of these, and it will more than make up for the costs of replacing the duds.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not for a everyday use, December 17, 2009

I've bought this inflatable bed for my father in law visit due we have short space in the house. From day two he told me it looses air overnight, so by the morning it is about 80% its inflation capacity.
I think it is good for a weekend every once in a while, but not for more than a week.
Other than that, pumps work good both ways.

1.0 out of 5 stars Looks good but bad design, November 19, 2009

I had this bed three weeks and one of the inner chambers broke loose. I now have a huge bulge running up the entire middle of the bed the long way. It slept ok before it broke. Not the best air bed I ever slept on but not bad. But DON'T BUY IT. It broke and I had to return it. This is the first thing I ever bought from Amazon that I had to return. I was surprised. All stuff from Amazon I am usually satisfied with. They did make returning it very easy.

4.0 out of 5 stars Comfy..but too cozy, September 26, 2009

Got this mattress for a trip out of town and didn't have any issues with losing air like others, but I'm 6'2" and 240lbs and this air mattress is not for someone who is tall or broad shouldered...its REALLY narrow and short.

This mattress would be perfect for kids or someone who is smaller framed, it inflated easily and quickly and barely lost any of its firmness. Its a good buy for the price.
