Proving that inflatable beds aren't just for sleepovers anymore, the Intex Comfort Frame airbed is so comfortable, you can actually use it as a permanent alternative to a traditional mattress and box spring. The Comfort Frame is actually two beds in one, with an inner mattress that sits within a soft inflatable frame. When you have guests, you can separate the unit into two separate beds, with one person sleeping on the inner mattress and the other inside the frame. The remainder of the time, the Comfort Frame functions as a single luxuriously comfortable bed, with a unique pillowed headboard for added snugness and tubular chambers on the sides for firmness and support.
The Comfort Frame airbed is made using a quality-tested 20.8-gauge waterproof flocked top, along with 15-gauge vinyl I-beams and 16-gauge sides and bottom. The resulting surface is soft and uniform, and also keeps bedding from slipping off to the side. When used as a single bed, the Comfort Frame also makes it easy to tuck bedding inside the bed frame for a tidier look. And the Comfort Frame is easy to inflate thanks to the high-powered handheld electric pump. The Comfort Frame bed, which is raised 15.5 inches from the floor, supports up to 600 pounds and includes a duffel bag for easy storage and transport.

This bed is so comfortable, it can actually be a permanent sleeping solution to a traditional mattress and box spring. Bed sheets tuck easily and securely around the inner mattress which then slips into the inflated frame. The frame provides more support for the bed, adding a level of comfort and firmness that can rarely be acheived by other beds. This bed can easily be converted into two seperate beds by removing the inner mattress; the frame becomes one bed, and the inner mattress becomes another. I bought this for my mom to use when she was visiting for 3 weeks. I was really worried because she has problems with her neck, back and shoulder. She said she would give this air bed 5 stars. We have owned several air matresses and none of them come close to the comfort of this one. It actually feels like a bed when you lay on it. I love the way there is an insert, allowing you to tuck sheets between the mattress and frame. Traditional air mattresses don't allow you to tuck in sheets and it can be very annoying for uses other than camping. I also like the way it is raised at the head of the mattress to resemble a headboard. This is really nice because it keeps pillows from slipping off the top of the "bed." The only reason this is still like an air mattress is because it is a little low to the ground. Otherwise, you can't tell it from a regular bed.

I just have to say this bed is no joke ! I purchased it because I was moving from Chi town to Dallas and my Military buddy gave me a space in his studio apt I'm still here and I'm still on it and it sleeps like a dream sometimes I sleep on both sometimes I sleep on the single both are amazing you pick . Ps I've done everything on this bed that I do on my regular California King if you know what I mean , and it can take the pressure Truss !!!

We love to camp, but it was getting too hard to get up off the ground in the morning. This bed is spectacularly comfortable! We purchased an additional manual pump at a local store so we don't have to rely on having electricity to fill the bed. We found that invaluable to 'top up' the pressure daily for the first three days, after which the bed remained perfectly firm. We are tent campers, so need a sturdy and reliable mattress. This is it. After a week on it, we came home and climbed into our very expensive custom made king size bed and after about 15 minutes concluded it was almost as comfortable as our new air bed!
One important thing: make sure you have a few days to inflate and air this bed out. The vinyl fumes are pretty intense when you first inflate it, but they vanish after a few days. We aired it at home before hitting the road.
