DOES NOT STAND BY PRODUCT,

Bed leaked after 3 uses just over 90 days. And they told me sorry we can't help you. They told me that they would sell me another one. That is it for the one I bought. Aero at least gives 1 year. I could not believe how cold this company was. I won't ever order from them again.

bed leaked immediately; called the distributor and was told to cut and send pieces to CA. Beds are not inspected so they replace.

I like the product, if it only didn't leak air. I sent original back
to factory, where they assured me it was an abnormality that mine had an air leak. The new one came and I had the same problem. Total waste of money. You cannot see where the air is leaking. I had Inlaws stay with us and they would have to get up several times a night to pump air back into the mattress.

The customer support is outstanding. We purchased Intex Queen Khaki Deluxe Frame Airbed with Built-in Electric Pump. We inflated it upon delivery and allowed 24hrs to elapse. The mattress deflated overnight. My correspondence with Windy City Superstore was a very good experience. They responded immediately to my email of complaint and offered suggestions to fix the leak. After a couple days of troubleshooting, my service rep, Kris sent a return free shipping label to return the very heavy item. We ended up not buying an air mattress anywhere. Even though we never used the air mattress, I gave high ratings to the store for standing behind their product, giving us a full refund and paying shipping both ways. I would definitely shop there again. Jane Marie Black, Grand Island, NY

I bought this airbed to use for guests. It was used once soon after purchase, then the next time we went to use it, it leaked. My brother has a better quality airbed (Aerobed) that has been used hundreds of times and has never leaked. I do not recommend this Intex brand, and will never buy another one.

Don't buy an Intex Bed/Air Mattress from windycitysuperstore.,

Don't buy an Intex Bed/Air Mattress from windycitysuperstore. I purchased an Intex Queen Airbed Deluxe Raised Mattress from the internet reseller for $90.. After having it 2 months and used just 3 nights, the bed failed and is now unusable. Buy an Aero Bed and other manufacturer's product that offers a warranty. One with some ethical business practices. For the details of what might be or should be illegal, see below. We used the bed 3 times (for my Father In-law during holidays) About 60 days after purchase we noticed the bed had a section/chamber that had failed inside the mattress. (It was leaned up against a spare room wall) I called the reseller and Intex and both said, sorry we can't help you. I told them the failure of the Air Bed was obviously the result of the inner chamber/ribbing section in the mattress failing. Or as the Intex website states in their "defective email reply page" "Bulging or Internal Beam Split (pop up)". The failure is obviously a manufacturing defect. I told them I have photos and a video. But again both reseller and Index said, "Sorry there's nothing we can do". I contacted the windycitysuperstore & Intex via email & telephone: I would hope the company would make an appropriate and good faith attempt to resolve his problem. Due to no-fault of mine own I'm being held solely responsible for a defective product. Please consider a fair and ethical resolution to the problem. Thank you windycitysuperstore reply: We cover manufacturing defects that exist right out of the box that are reported within 30 days from the original purchase date only. I contacted the Intex Corp. in Long Beach CA their reply: The phone call ended with "Intex offers no warranty. Sorry we will not be able to help you, we do not have any Intex products here" Do yourself a favor and buy a quality product from a reputable manufacturer and reseller. Or .... Just put the in-laws or kids up at the local motel/hotel. Truthfully, Sleepless in New England |
