I went camping recently up in Priest Lake Idaho. I was looking for something to do so I bought this boat, not really realizing that it was a children's toy. I'm 6'3" so it looks pretty funny when I get in this thing. Everyone thought it was hilarious, it was worth the price just to see my mother laugh so hard. Anyway, I ended up paddling this toy roughly 3 miles through rough water and against the wind and this little boat hung in there. I thought the rubber oar loops were going to rip out from the intense rowing but they never did. I went on to beat it up the next day rowing from one ilsand to the shore and it still held up. I got pulled over by the water sheriff too, he thought it was funny as well.
Bottom line, this is a strong little rubber raft. I rowed this thing around until I couldn't life my arms.

I bought 2 of these boats for my kids (3 and 6) to take to the lake. They were a hit!!! The pump was a little slow for impatient young ones, but other than that they were fantastic. They fit 2 people - 10 and under, or 1 adult. I know this because I spent the morning laying in one and had a great time! I loved the fact that the oars couldn't slip out and get lost. The rope at the front made it super easy to pull onto the beach, or tie to the back of the boat. One piece of advice: DON'T pull these behind a motorized boat... the eye for the rope pulled right out, leaving a huge hole, a flat boat and a completely devastated child :( I will be buying 4 or 5 more since all the kids, and adults at the lake LOVED them!!!

With some new-found wealth I'd earned, I figured it was time to buy a boat -- nay, not one boat, but two! That said, my new-found wealth wasn't exactly massive, so I decided to buy two of these.

I'm a 23 year-old guy living in Washington, DC. The girlfriend and I have been meaning to go boating on the Potomac for a while, so I figured we'd give it a whirl with these boats this past Saturday. Mind you, we're both average height and build and weight.

These boats performed amazingly. We paddled back and forth from Rosslyn to Roosevelt Island and back and splashed around the river a good bit. They were durable enough for us to launch them from rocks along the bank, grind our way through really thick weeds, and drag them around on shore. They were light enough for us to portage by holding a boat with just one hand over our heads with no problem. They were sturdy enough for us to get in and out of the boats without tipping them once and turn around and change positions inside them. The paddles can be used as rowboat paddles or unscrewed and rescrewed into kayak paddles. We tried both without ever getting out of the water. They never leaked once and the only moisture in the bottom of the boats when we were done was what we'd dripped in there ourselves. I easily fit both of them after a little deflating into the back of my tiny '96 Corolla.

For $21, these seriously cannot be beat. Anytime I saw someone ogling our classy boats while we were in them, I shouted, "Only $21 on Amazon!"

This is a small boat, not for two people (unless one is a child), but other than that it's great and it's surprisingly strong and it takes beating like charm.

It's a great value!

Great product. We had a smaller one that last over a year of the kids jumping and playing on it - which is great for our house. This model is larger and even comes with paddles and a pump. I didn't expect that - I was just replacing another one.
...you can't beat it.

Used it for a camping trip with 4 rowdy kids. They loved it and it held up very well. Easy to set up and take down.

I have gone rafting twice on the Explorer. One time I went rafting on breeches, the other time on a creek. Overall I have ventured over 10 miles in this guy. I sure wouldn't call this a 2-person raft, unless it was two smaller kids in it. Also, when I first sat in the raft, the front went up so high I couldn't see where I was going! When I sat in it backwards, it worked quite well. The paddles are light and do the job.

The one downside to this raft, is that it is HARD to get the air out of it. There isn't a large blow-up hole in it, so the only way to get the air out of it is to hold the blow hole while the air comes out of it (like a standard pool toy). I managed to wedge something into the hole to allow the air to come out faster while I pressed on it.

For the price, you can't beat this raft with paddles! I plan on taking it out for another annual rafting trip next spring!
