I was apprehensive at first because of the low cost of this kayak compared to some others out there, but after my first time out in it I couldn't really ask for anything more. The kayak it quick to inflate and very comfortable and stable once your in it. The seats do a good job supporting you while you paddle and the skeg keeps the kayak on track. Best of all it comes with everything you need to get started.

So the biggest gripe I see is that users are losing their skegs... I honestly don't see how, as it sits very snug on my kayak. Regardless, as a precautionary method this is what I did:

Step 1: Drill a hole in the skeg near the back (i used a plastic form indent from the factory as my enterance point.
Step 2: Get a lot of dental floss, or high gauge fishing line. Take the floss/line and fold it 3/4 times for extra strength and loop it through the hole in your skeg. Knot the one end several times to the skeg. Then for extra strength, coat the knots with super glue.
Step 3: Tie the other end of the floss/line to somewhere on the kayak. Leave some slack as you dont want this putting tension on anything.
Step 4: never lose your skeg again. If it falls of, it will dangle on the string you made until you realize it's off. It is going to take a TON of tension to snap this safety line. At that point you probably have more problems then a lost skeg.
Step 5: Profit!!

We took this out to the river for the first time today. It was very easy to inflate and launch. Feels sturdy and safe when sitting inside, we never felt like we would tip over. It can be tricky to steer straight, but with two people paddling, it is easy enough to achieve. I would recommend buying your own paddles. The included paddles work well enough, but aren't adjustable at all. This was uncomfortable to us as we are 5' and 6' tall.
We haven't encountered any problems yet with the kayak itself though. For $100, it is fantastic. Everything we expected.

Updated Review:
Bought this to move with me to Africa - after lots of research we decided to try a cheaper option instead of the 600+ fabric covered options.
Rolled up it weighs 27lbs alone, and 29lbs with the paddles and pump, rolled up it fit into a large suitcase along with the pump, paddles, and a few other items. It is not small, but could be carried a short distance if tied up right.
The boat itself is very comfortable, the seats adjust easily even while on the water. The paddles are quite heavy, the hand grips are not very comfortable, and they twist out of position all the time (they are 3 parts that twist together...so they untwist) - I would highly recommend buying new paddles if you plan to use it often - we tried a friends step-up in quality paddles and it was a world of difference.
The skeg - lost. Second time in the water, snapped it into place, and gone. Without this it is almost impossible to keep it moving straight if the water has any bit of current. We bought this to use in the river near our home, in the rainy season the river fills with water and the current is quite swift - we were miserable in this, could barely paddle up river and spent all of our energy trying to keep it going straight, even down river. Our friends have the Advanced Elements 2-seater, which I had originally considered - after using the kayak a couple times and having friends borrow it and comment - I now recommend if you plan to use it a lot in more than just a very calm lake - get something more streamlined - the Intex is basically a comfortable raft. It would be fine for kids, it seems very safe, and moves easily in calm water with the skeg attached.
Not good for long trips or fast currents - just have to spend more for a better boat.

yeah, helps if you have the drain plug.. plugged.. oops.

Wonderful kayaks. I don't know what the other guy means by losing the skeg, mine clicks into place. I suppose on rocks or something it could come off, but in a lake you'll be fine. Tracks really well with 2 people, amazingly comfortable and surprisingly quick. With one person it's still controllable and very fast.

As I mentioned above, on our maiden voyage it filled with water, but I'd forgotten to check the drain plug on one of them. A few seconds of dumping out the water and plugging in the drain plug and we were back in the water. I'll post some pictures, you can't believe how HIGH out of the water these sit! It seems just the bottom part is actually in it, so you don't have a huge drag profile in the water. Very fast and fun!

This inflatable kayak actually surpassed my expectations. I definitely like it, a lot ... just not sure that I "love it" (5 stars). Truthfully, we've only used it once but we spent the better part of a day in it. The trip down the Blackwater River is documented on our YouTube channel as .... [...] and there is another video of our campsite with footage of me blowing up the kayak .... [...]

The basic material is more durable than I imagined and its overall size is well suited for two normal adults. It easily blows up with an aftermarket 12vdc air pump (must use care however not to exceed the max pressure). Underway, it was not the least bit tippy and very stable in all calm water situations. I shot video and took photos all day without any difficulty. There is a small scag or fin that is meant to be inserted in a slot at the rear bottom. Since the water was quite low where we put in, I decided to leave this fin off, thinking it would strike the bottom. Bear in mind that we are total novices and this was our first experience ever, in any kind of a kayak and I thought this to be the reason we had so much difficulty making the kayak go where we wanted it to go. Finally, I decided to insert the fin and try it. Night and day difference ... suddenly the kayak became totally manageable and with no effort we were cruising along as if we knew what we were doing. I might add that my wife and I slightly exceeded the 250 lb load rating and the kayak didn't seem to mind at all. The paddles go together easily and have comfortable grips. The PR material says that they are longer than competitors paddles of comparable sized kayaks but found us wishing that they might have been just a bit longer.
