We've had this pool now for what will be our third summer. My son has enjoyed it since he was only 5 months old and is now 2. The sides are wide and sturdy enough for him to sit/lay on without caving the whole thing in and he loves bouncing up and down on the tail. So far it's held up, no leaks and I'm rather surprised since most blow up pools don't last 1 summer. Anyways, the blow hole is a fun feature (you hook it up to the hose) that my son loves as well. Another nice thing is that the pool is large enough for me to sit in with my legs fully extended (I'm 5'7). Inflating it takes some time and massive effort if you don't have an electric pump, so we keep it inflated all year round and just store in rafters in the garage during the winter. This is a great pool.

Bought this today and my 2 1/2 year old daughter loves it. A nice size for her, she had a baby pool last year which she outgrew. We pull her Little Tikes slide over and put the end into the pool so with this pool she has more space to land. Buy the Electric air pump it fills it up in minutes! Made out of Durable material and has a drain plug in the bottom making it easier to drain.

I was given this pool last year for my then 1 1/5 and 3 year olds, they would look forward to playing in it every chance they got! I was able to enjoy it knowing there were no hard surfaces and if they were a little rough the pool coushined the fall. The tail was an endless source of play and the spout was a great way to keep the pool filled with their splashing. I was able to store it over the winter and it is now ready for another summer of play. The children are very excited to have their old playmate back again! Hours of endless cool fun!

I bought this pool in 2002 for my (then) 10 month old daughter. She loved it! The whale face is very cute and the spray adds a lot of fun. As another reviewer mentioned, the tail did start to lose air, but that has no effect on the rest of the pool. The only problem I had was getting the air out of the pool to put it away for winter. It wouldn't deflate.

I have had this pool for about three years now and my son absolutely loves it. We accidently popped the first one, (it was our fault), and we had to go get another one. My son really wanted another one like this. My 10 year-old son plays in the pool with him as well. They both can play in the pool comfortably. The sprinkler feature is really nice and my son really likes this. I recommend this item for a lot of summer fun.

We bought this pool for our 12 month old son because it was small and cute, and he loves playing in the spout so much, I think he could spend all day in it. However, the tail on the whale is slowly losing air, but it does not bother my son, just as long as water is coming out of the spout he is happy.

My son recieved this pool for his 2nd birthday. At first it was great, but soon there were one hole after another. The sprinkler is a great bonus. I only wish they would have made it more durable.

I bought this pool for my 1 yr old daughter in 2003 and we used it all summer long. We would typically take it down after a few uses to let the lawn breathe. It withstood this many many times and never once gave us a problem. We haven't set it up this year yet but I don't expect it to give us many problems due to it's durabilty. My daughter just loves this pool and I would buy it again or atleast one from the same makers.

Hi, I purchased this pool for my grandson 3 summers ago he is now 4 at the time he was 1 he enjoyed this pool so much that eveytime he came home for the summer he would get up in the morning and say Mita(Grandma) want to go out in the pool. Mind you I also sat in the pool with him and I am 48 years old. His father went in the pool and so did his Uncle not to mention all the kids that came over everyone enjoyed the pool very much. The kids would put into the pool all the blocks and water toys they have. This is an awesome pool for all not just kids. Thing is it finally broke and I came to amazon to look for it because I had purchased mine in another store and thank God amazon has it but it's out of stock. Well I hope they get it soon because I need to purchase it again. although now my grandson is 4 he still loves his pool and it is still plenty of good for his age range. Let me put it this way if adults can enjoy it, It will have plenty of years for kids to grow with it.

The first time we used the pool it had a air leak. She loved playing in the water and loved the whale's tale. Unfortunatly after 2 uses the pool is deflated. I expected to use the pool through the summer. It is not a durable pool.
