nice bed with a leak problem,
By So, if you only plan to use this bed 5 or 10 times and that's worth $50 to you, go ahead and buy it - it's very comfortable at first, and the price is a lot less than you'd pay for 5 or 10 nights in a hotel. If you need it to last longer, though, I'd recommend looking for another air bed.

Sleeping in Semi- Comfort, With Intex,
By
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This Intex air mattress offers a larger size than most, a larger weight capacity, and a surface that is raised 19.5 inches off the floor when inflated, making it more similar to an actual bed. The queen size dimensions mean that this inflatable mattress can accommodate queen size sheets. A fitted sheet can be hooked on each corner of the mattress, followed by the addition of a comforter and pillow to make a sleeping space that almost looks like an actual bed. Sometimes, depending on how well inflated the bed is, it may not accommodate a queen size sheet perfectly. But a little more air should stretch the bed to the point that it resembles an actual queen size bed, making the sheets fit more snugly.
Probably the most appealing aspect of this product is the built- in air pump and this is the main reason I selected this air mattress over others. There was no need to buy a pump or even attach a pump. This pump is part of the mattress- located just underneath the top part, where the "pillow" ridge is located. It is right there, on the edge, where it can be quickly accessed for some quick pumping action. It takes about three to four minutes to inflate the bed completely- not bad for an item this big that requires so much air to make it usable. Built in accessories are nice, but what really makes or breaks an inflatable mattress is the comfort level. And this mattress from Intex provides an acceptable level of comfort that won't leave you with back damage but also doesn't compare to a Sealy Posturpedic or Serta. When I think about the camping- style air mattresses I have used in the past, this mattress is definitely better. The fact that this mattress is made for home use and is intended for extended use as a sleeping device is the main reason for its improved comfort. Camping mattresses are made for limited use and they offer nothing more than an inflatable piece of plastic- like sleeping on an inflatable raft taken from a swimming pool. But this inflatable mattress from Intex is definitely a notch better than that, with a rippled, flocked nylon surface and firmer feel, for better comfort. One thing that is somewhat of a joke, however, is the so- called built- in "pillow" on the top. This is nothing more than a slightly elevated ridge and by no means can it take the place of an actual pillow. One quick test is all it takes for a person to realize this ridge cannot substitute for the real thing. It provides practically no head support at all. Air mattresses are prone to losing air and while the Intex Midrise Queen Size Air Mattress is meant for extended use, it still loses a little but of air each day. It is important to check the knob on the back, next to the pump, to make sure it is turned all the way to the right, to minimize air loss. But even with the knob turned properly, some air will still escape. I have used this mattress for several days at a time and I have found that I have to re- inflate every two days. It doesn't take long and the built in pump makes the task simple so I'm not really bothered by this, but I can understand how some people- those who seek perfection in all of the manufactured goods they own- will consider this a flaw in the design. Overall, the Intex Midrise Queen Size Air Mattress with Built in Pump is a pretty good product that offers the convenience of instant inflation along with a comfort level that is better than most inflatable mattresses. It is no substitute for a regular mattress but it is better than most other air mattresses, offering a large surface area that sleeps two (semi) comfortably.
