pleased with product, August 9, 2006
this is the most comfortable air bed i have ever slept on, i have owned other air beds and this is by far superior i think the height and the memory foam makes the difference a piece of advice if you have never owned an airbed they all stretch the first 24hrs or so and they ALL need more air added to them from time to time so don't expect to buy one (even high quality) and inflate once and never inflate again because this is to be expected and even more in the first 24hrs of each and every time used

CAN'T RETURN IF DEFECTIVE, June 29, 2008
I researched this product prior to purchasing and was hoping I would be in the "satisfied camp," but unfortunately I am extremely dissatisfied. I had the same issue that previous customers had with it deflating on it's own in a matter of hours. We bought this for my in-laws to visit because they are older and cannot sleep so close to the floor. Luckily, I set it up a day early to test it's integrity and within 3 hours it had deflated halfway. We checked for open valves and leaks and could find none. We added air thinking it could be a fluke, but sure enough, 2 hours later it was deflated. We ended up having to run out and purchase an Aerobed (which was fabulous!). I contacted the company (Backstore) to return this product and was told as it was already opened I would not be able to return it. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS ITEM, IF IT IS DEFECTIVE YOU CANNOT RETURN IT. It is my fault for not thoroughly researching their return policy, but I have NEVER heard of not being able to return an inherently defective item. It is very easy for this company to cheat you out of your money by selling you a defective item you can't return, even if all you do is open it to check it for holes. I hope Backstore enjoyed stealing our money. As an aside, Backstore invited me twice to write a review, even AFTER trying to return the item.

great product, May 12, 2005
The idea of combining air bed with memory foam sounds good so i decided to try it as i have lower back pain for ages now, tried so many different things but was still not satisfied, let me tell you this one so far is going great, i can adjust the firmness of the bed easily by remote and the memory foam gives the support for back, just be carefull if you are in hot climate, memory foam will give you a little problem but for winter its a graet bed.

Wonderful Air Bed, January 1, 2007
I think this may be the best airbed on the market! I bought two for our Christmas guests, and one of them said it was better than the Aerobed he bought. The memory foam makes a big difference-makes the bed warmer and feel closer to a "real" bed. I love the remote and the built-in air pump. It's a real plus! Quick to inflate. It also has valves in both upper and lower sections so you can inflate with an external pump if you have no electricity where you are (camping, etc) I did ALOT of research before my purchase and I would recommend this product to anyone! Take out of packaging and inflate before you need it so it can air out. Strong odor from the PVC plastic. Happy sleeping!

Very Disappointed, April 8, 2007
I purchased this air mattress maybe 4 months ago. I've had nothing but trouble with it. The first two weeks were pretty good. The memory foam topper is great and the bed is overall very comfortable. Not long though until it sprang a leak. That's expected though. It was almost impossible to find so I spent about a month on the couch. I finally found it and it turned out to be from a cat claw. So I let that one slide because it was my fault.
After that another maybe 2 weeks of good nights without losing air. It starts again. I had better luck finding the hole this time. I heard the air coming out after pumping it up. It was coming from the top under the cover and memory foam. It turns out that there was a small little slit in one of the flocked indentions on top. I patched this and went on. But every other night it sprouted a new hole in a different indention on top. I patched 4 or 5 holes like this until it finally went all together. The built in air pump started leaking and that can't be fixed. It blows air out of it when turned off and when it has a little pressure on the bed.
This is the worst by I've ever made. And considering I seem to be the only one having trouble I'm not sure what happened. Maybe I got the bad one out of the bunch. Who knows. But I will not be buying anything from this brand again.

so far...not happy with this, May 24, 2007
I ordered the queen size raised bed and just received it today. We had it shipped to our vacation destination and are really disappointed to find that it's not even close to a queen size! The dimensions on the box state 60x80 but it's actually 53x73...not a little smaller..a LOT smaller. It's really a full size bed, not a queen at all! I called the company's customer service number at 4pm their time and had to leave a voicemail..we'll see what the response is.

Comfort is OK, Deflation is Hell., July 12, 2007
My family purchased this air mattress and was pleased with the level of comfort. The trouble came when it was time to deflate the bed. This bed comes with a reversible pump, but this only works to a certain level of deflation. After this, you must open two valves. Unfortunately, and in contrast to an AeroBed, the valves are small and require the insertion of a finger to allow air to escape. So basically, you are rolling around the floor with two of your fingers stuck in these valves. The whole process was time-consuming to the point where the guest who was sleeping on the mattress, when she decided to stay an extra night, chose to sleep on the floor rather than wrestle with the deflation a second time. I thought she was kinda crazy to do this, but she was insistent that the deflation had drained everything from her. For this reason, I would not purchase this bed. Even with two of us working on it, we weren't able to deflate the bed enough for it to fit into the bag which was provided for its storage.

Very comfortable, January 30, 2006
The airbed was very comfortable, but we did run into problems with the bed. A section of the airbed suport let go, and at the same time created an air leak under the memory foam. At this point, we are waiting on a warranty claim. I will add that the company was very easy to get ahold of. I did not have to wait on the phone at all and they made it very easy to send in our claim. We liked the bed well enough to work with the company on a replacement. At this point, they have not had enough time to receive our claim and reply. I am hoping to hear back from them within a week.

Comfortable and dare I say "Stable" air bed, January 10, 2007
Just like the picture shows, this is an air bed that you can sit on the side of the mattress and not flip over (you don't need side baffles taking up valuable floor space on this bed). Even with a hundred pound weight difference my husband can get up in the middle of the night and I just keep on snoozing. Because we aren't sleeping together in a valley, but on our own side of the bed. It's even comfortable! Is it as comfy as our pillowtop mattress? No, but we are talking about a portable bed here and it is very comfortable. Be aware though that the air bed is shorter then a normal queen size mattress. Our son likes the Intex much better then his Aerobed, BUT his feet hang over on the Intex, but not his aerobed. He is almost 6'4" so he misses those few inches. On the other hand he sleeps much better on the Intex.
Highly recommended!

Excellent Purchase, Very Comfortable, January 9, 2007
We were able to reclaim our third bedroom! We often have guests that stay for a week but not long enough to warrant a full time guest room.
This air bed is very comfortable and easy to use. It folds up to a small 2 x 2.5 ft bag and stores easily in the closet. My only complaint is that it is more like a large full size/small queen size, 6 inches narrower than our Queen in the master bedroom. Other than that, the air adjustment works well. The pillow top is very comfortable. This was a very good purchase, below department store/costco pricing.
