We bought this pool last summer and loved it! It's too hot here in Texas not to have a pool, but we just weren't ready to take the plunge (pardon the pun) on an inground just yet. After looking around A LOT, we found the best price (including shipping) here on Amazon from In the Swim. Easy install once the ground under it is level. Salt-water system worked great. Never had a problem with green water. Stayed crystal clear. Just takes 125 pounds of salt you can easily buy at Walmart. You pour it right in the pool and it dissolves. No chemicals to buy. No salt water taste or stickiness. No burning your eyes or hair. It's like swimming in contact lens solution. Comes with all the tools you need to keep it clean. Other reviewers are spot-on that you will want to get a different ladder. We're in a subdivision with 5-10 acre tracts, so nobody is right up close to it when they drive by, but we have had a number of inquiries and compliments from the neighbors on our "wood" pool. It's not wood, but it sure looks like it from a distance. Easy disassemble for the winter. It's packed away right now awaiting spring. Just took a couple hours one afternoon to pack up. May not ever buy an inground---it's January as I write this and I have no pool to clean or make payments on!!

absolutely love the pool, but the saltwater system is not working correctly, no readings on the screen to tell me if it is low or high of salt.The test strips that was supplied was expired and got more from a local store. Intex says they will ship me another system, but it has been 2 weeks and still nothing. Everything was good on shipping and the product was in great shape. Would recommened this to others, and if the saltwater system worked, it would be wonderful. very sturdy and easy to set up. Did this by myself and it took around 4 hours....

Upset that my pool was delivered and after 3/4 assembly discovered missing piece. My kids are very upset they have to wait for this part so they can use their pool. Not Amazons fault, packer at Intex. Make sure you count each and every piece as soon as you get it to allow lead time for missing pieces. Not sure when (or if) I will get this panel. I will update this review. Maybe just a fluke and it won't happen to you. Also, the instuctional DVD would not play on my 2 PC's at home with latest Windows. I think it may be some kind of international version? Fortunately the paper instructions sufficed.

Otherwise the pool seems like a good investment.

Do not let any of these reviews fool you...the install of the leveling is brutal! It's a nice looking pool but the leveling takes many hands, many hours and patience! We had 3-4 completely qualified helpers and still the leveling was a monster. Hopefully the pool itself will make up for a very stressful and exhausting experience. All in all, the pool may be fine, but the instructions are tricky and the positive reviews are unrealistic.

We purchased the pool a few weeks ago. Shipping was a bit tricky (the free shipping was the main reason why i purchased from Amazon, other companies were charging up to $500 in shipping). The company that ended up delivering it to us had problems with their truck and it took about 2 week to schedule delivery. We never owned a pool, so we had no clue what we were doing, when we finally got around to set it up. Setup was easy, and the pump is easy to operate. Still working on trying to find the right sanitizing cycle for us (for how long to run it a day). We had one issue with the product, which was the Maintenance set did not include the telescope pole. But all i did was call Index Costumer Service and after faxing them my proof of purchase they send us another Maintenance Set (not just the pole, the whole set) at no charge within 2 days. The vaccuum that comes with the Maintenance Set is a nightmare. I got so frustrated with this big and clunky thing, i ended up purchasing a separate pool vaccuum.
All in all i think its a good product. The kids have been using it every day, and i think living in Texas with 90 degrees up until October, we will get our money`s worth.

When I purchased this pool for my 12 year old daughter, I had no idea how wonderful it would be! The setup is easy, but does require at least two people and carefully following directions. The most difficult task is leveling the ground and setting in the patio pavers for the correct sections.

This pool is a thing of beauty. The vynl siding looks like real wood and makes the pool look more like an elegant spa. Glad it came with a salt water pump. Can't beat the price on Amazon.com. Saw at other locations for up to $2300, paid $1049. It is sturdy and well designed, I am sure we will enjoy it for years.

Have recommended to Intex to develop accessories to match the pool out of the same vynl material.

We bought this pool back in April not realizing it is just a regular Walmart Intex pool with PVC tube but has "slats" that go over the regular pool! We sucked it up realizing we could not possibly afford to send it back. My DH cleared the ground and got it all ready to put up & the liner had a giant hole. After we sent in everything Intex requested we waited 4 weeks of & lots of phone fighting with Intex we were told the liner was on back order & they had no clue when they'd get more in....we charged a real pool from the pool store for twice this much & I am not sorry~ a week later the stupid liner showed up via fed Ex~ this pool now sits on Craig's List for 1/3 of what we paid & isn't being sold. Don't waist your money if you expect this to be like a regular hard sided pool~

(See comment below for update and pic's) I received the pool 4 days after ordering and set it up this weekend. The liner, and all other materials, seems more durable than I was expecting. Like mentioned in other reviews, the ground leveling is the hardest part. I chose the levelest part in my already level yard. I started the ground leveling before the pool was delivered. Doing the ground work, as recommended in the instructions I downloaded from Intex, took me alone about 10 hours using shovels. I used 16"x16" concrete pavers instead of the 18" ones shown in the instructions and they worked fine. The sand and pavers cost me around $80, here in sw georgia. With the ground leveled and ready, setting the pool up took about 90 minutes, filling it with water took 8 hours using one standard garden hose, and installing the wood finish took about 30 minutes. The pump is strong and quiet. The skimmer works really well and has good suction. The ladder is a little narrow for adults, but does it's job well enough. The size of the pool is plenty big enough for my family of three with room for more. The wood finish really is an eye catcher and the top rail makes a nice place to set a cool drink. Overall, We are very pleased with this product and would recommend it to anyone.

We set up this pool on an outdoor tiled patio, so the ground was already level. It went up quickly, and we were swimming the same day. I did a lot of research on above ground pools and chose this one for the wood grain exterior and low maintenance. We added 120 pounds of Morton's pool salt, and the pump keeps the water crystal clear. There are no chemicals to deal with, which is great!

The size is perfect for exercising or relaxing with a float, and the wood grain looks great. The water temp has stayed at 89 degrees, which feels cool when the air temp is in the mid to high 90's. I don't know how I survived Florida's hot and humid summers without this pool. If you're looking for an inexpensive pool that looks good and has low maintenance, I highly recommend this pool!

I was nervous about getting a pool because i was worried that it would be too much work and money to setup and too aggrevating to maintain.But i could never have been more wrong with this pool.I started researching several months before i wanted to purchase it.I found out everything i needed to do to prepare the spot for it and i went ahead and did all that before i ordered the pool.(i highly recommend doing that)My yard is not flat so i had to dig about 1 foot deep and level it all out.Then i put down 1" of sand for a softer floor under the pool liner!The last thing i did after i got the pool was get the measurements for where the pavers should go and i put them down.(make sure you get those level with each other as well!)Pool setup was super easy,just take your time and don't get in a hurry.I filled it up and added 120 pounds of salt,got in there with the kids and stirred it around and let the filter run till next morning and we were ready to swim!I haven't had to add any salt since the only thing i did was add some baking soda to get the total alkilinity right.
