Great pool for a small price,

Having 2 small children I wanted a pool that they would enjoy and would be easy to set up. My kids loved it and my husband and I also lounged in it, it was very refreshing. It was easy to drain when we wanted to change the water. The pool is very well put together and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Those filtered pools are quite expensive for a "throwaway" pool, they kill the lawn, the inflatable top rings can be destroyed easily, and I prefer not to have my kids gulping, breathing, and soaking in chlorine all day. That, and they still are hard to keep clean--the filters clog readily and don't work well, especially for sediment on the bottom.Use a footbath with any pool. The snapsets are easy to skim--just squash down one side and let the water spill over the edge. As long as the sides aren't sharply folded (which causes cracking--always fold the sides in from the vinyl floor!), and rocks and other sharp objects are forbidden, they last at least all summer. It does take a few bodies to put a large snapset up, but even a toddler can help hold up a side while it fills. If you absolutely must go it alone, carefully-placed buckets or lawn chairs can do the job nicely. You must have level ground, as with any pool--but these are fairly forgiving of irregularities. Yes, you do use up water with these, as it goes slimy after a few days. But by then, it's time to give the lawn a break--and it gets a good watering at the same time. These things are a cinch to empty, and if you wipe the bottom with a cloth or soft brush to loosen dirt and slime before doing so, it'll be all set for the next filling. The biggest advantage, of course, is the low price. When someone punctures the bottom or cracks the sidewall, you just buy a new one--and still come out way ahead, financially.

I could not believe just how big this pool is once it is put up! We went through the trouble of digging out the area, and clearing up any roots, etc, and even have a "deep end" where we dug down about 2 inches extra! Both our children, the 3.5 year old, and the 20 month old, have tons of fun, its easy to use, and we have not killed it yet! I just wish I knew how to keep it clean! It holds 596 gallons of water, so we dont want to empty it every other day, and it can get slimey! Household bleach seems to be working, but for $20, I could not be happier, I even told everyone at work how great it is!

This pool is great! It is absolutely incredible for the price. We have had no problems with it except the sides folded in a little bit on the top since we had put a tarp over it. It is a huge pool for the price and my girls (6 & 2) love it. It was simple for my husband and I to set up, and we haven't had any leakage at all. We had an inflatable pool before that kept getting holes in it from our cats trying to drink out of it. The cats have completely left this one alone. We have used a non-chlorine product to keep it algae-free so I don't have to keep emptying it. I can even "swim" in it with them! Perfect for hot days!

I wanted to try out something other than an inflatable pool so tried this product, was not impressed. Side walls are very flimsy making it difficult to fill. Most all kids pools are difficult to empty. When emptied the flimsy walls easily become bent and folded randomly weakening where the fold was (like a piece of folded paper), this eventually leads to tear and a leak point after a few uses. By the 3rd or 4th time filling/unfilling this pool had several holes that were too numerous to deal with. Was thrown in the trash. My reccomendation is to skip over this product. I also reccomend when for a kids pool also look for something that is easy to empty (designed with drain).

I bought this pool for use at a birthday party. It was fairly easy to set up, but I reccommend you have at least 2 people. It withstood a lot of abuse over the course of a day with 12 rowdy boys. By the end of the day it had a small leak in the bottom. However, we made no effort to take care of it at all. I'm pretty sure, the patch that came with it would have fixed it. If we had a put a tarp under it when we set it up, that may have helped to protect it a bit. For us, it didn't matter. It had served its purpose by days end, and we trashed it. Overall I am impressed that it was still standing - the kids were brutal with it.I paid $13 for it with free shipping, so I thought it was a great value for my son's party.

Love this pool! The raccoon killed our $40 blow up so we opted for this $15 deal (hoping the raccoon wouldn't be back for another dip). What a snap to set up (once it has reached 2 to 3" and you have three bodies helping to hold up the sides, that is, really, it's easy!) We have had alot of fun in the pool, it's a great size and holds alot of water! Now, cleaning it, challenging. For the price, really happy with it... just wish you could lean on the sides to really lounge around.

Do not get this unless you want the hassle of trying to return it and not being able to. It is cheap for a reason. I got this and filled it a few days after getting it. The water wouldn't hold, so I looked around the pool, and what do you know, there was a HUGE crack in the side plastic. So there is no way to fix it, and I am having trouble returning it since it was OPENED. It came in such a tiny box im sure thats why it was cracked. I am NOT happy with this at all, I will go buy a plastic pool at walmart for [...] bucks and have a better result. Now it's just taking up space in my garage. BOO!

This pool is huge, and therefore takes forever to fill. And it won't stand up straight unless it's quite full....and that won't happen satisfactorily unless it's perfectly level on the ground. There is no "snapping", just you struggling to hold up some of the sides while the hose flails around. Seems easier just to spray yourself with the hose and have done with it.

Well, the big pro to this is that it's not inflatable. Inflatable pools, in my opinion, are the hugest waste of money when it comes to outdoor summer entertainment for your kids. Our first and only one lasted a day. That, and this year we even got a couple teeny tiny holes in the bottom from stones poking up through the dirt underneath but the weight of the water and the density of the dirt kept it from leaking the 4 months it was up. So that's cool. However, there's lots of downsides to having a snap set pool as well. #1, all you have to do is lean on the pool and the walls cave in. Although that can be helpful when it comes to emptying the pool. #2, going along with #1, you have to have the pool filled to a certain level in order for the walls to not fall in, hence, making it a pointless toy if you want it to be any more shallow than like 6, 8". #3, You better find a completely level place to set this up or else the walls will cave right in. (am I seeing a trend here?) Our yard has the slightest incline to it, and by slight, I mean like 5 degrees but it's enough to make the walls lopsided. #4, It's a b**ch to clean out and put away for the winter! I somehow managed to get ours cleaned out and put away last year, but this year the sides would just not work with me while I was trying to move it around and the darn thing got a huge tear. I don't really care. The pool's cheap. I was just as happy (and maybe a bit relieved) to throw it out instead of busting my 9 month pregnant self cleaning it. So all in all, yea, it's a piece of plastic junk, but compared to an inflated plastic piece of junk, this one is still better. I plan on getting another one next summer.
