Always wanted a pool.. sorry I waited so long. This was easy to put up, though it took me a few days and quite a few breaks.. it was well worth it. I used the Tyvek underneath it, along with the ground cloth. The boards under the supports ARE a necessity. I was concerned when the sides started to bow in while filling it with water, but when it was full, they straightened right out. It's perfect. The only thing I would change is not waiting so long to get one! I am an overweight, 66 year-old female. Have COPD, asthma and emphesema.. and I did it, you can too. I feel better, look better and have even lost a few pounds. My muscle tone is better. What more can I say.. I LOVE IT! I got an upgraded pump (4000 gph) and the saltwater filter and the whole system is virtually maintenance free. The light I purchased makes it look dreamy at night and provides a longer 'swim day'. I would have gotten a larger size if I had room in my yard. I am happier and healthier.. LIFE IS GOOD and so is this wonderful pool. I cannot say enough good things about it. Plus, it's amazing how many new 'friends' I've gotten since word is out I have a pool! :-) If you have any inkling of getting one.. you will NOT be disappointed with this set up. Vacuum, skimmer, broom and surface net all included, along with a complete volleyball game. The best place/price to purchase this is thru Amazon.com. I got the best price around, plus FREE S&H. Can't beat that. If you have any questions, I would gladly answer them if I can. Enjoy the good things in life, it's too short and you deserve!

My son and I put a lot of work into setting up this pool. We ordered 2-1/2 yds of sand to level the ground and hrs to put up the frame and pad area supports. Close to $200 extra dollars. After filling up the pool 1/2 way, 2 leaks on the liner. Small but significant emough to saturate the ground by the next morning. Called Intex for the warranty...hah... they told me I would have to drain it, tear it down and cut out the leaking areas of the liner, file a claim and mail in the cut-outs before a new replacement liner would be sent. I asked them, how about a few pictures of the water leaking out, would that be enough, instead of draining, tearing down, cutting liner up and waiting for a replacement... what a joke. Calling Amazon now for their view on this poor support....

Great little pool. Careful - follow directions exactly. If you do it goes up quick and easy. You will need a helper for about 1 hour. As above ground pools go it looks pretty good and the quality seems quite high ( time will tell). So far very happy - great value for money.

Verify your land is 100% level - Do not just "eyeball it"
