This is one of the best bible studies I have ever done. This bible study guides the reader through a journey that definitely brings intimacy with God. Each study begins with the reader examining four to five Psalms, highlighting a different aspect of intimacy for each lesson. There are then a series of response questions that focuses the reader to really address the process of growing more intimate with God. She also quotes classic christian authors throughout the study that are enlightening and/or encouraging. I really enjoyed this Bible Study/Devotional because it started with me examining the Bible with little guidance. I did not feel like I was being led down a path to the point the author wanted to make, but instead it was as if I was walking with the author through the journey to intimacy with God. It really allowed me to grow through reading God's Psalms with a focus. I would highly recommend Cynthia Heald's books for personal growth and study.
