I just purchased the dvd a little late...but it was so worth it.
I am predjudice when it comes to Howard...because I put him above so many artist. But that's just me. It was a uplifting dvd and to just see him interact with his audience and be true to himself and his music was a joy to see. I recommend this dvd to many and you can judge for yourself. He's a sweetheart and a breath of fresh air.

If you have never seen Howard Hewett perform live, this DVD is a wonderful experience! You are up close and personal learning the man and his music. Excellent choice!

You might have found too that it's very hard to find good quality R&B live performances on disk. This recording by Howard Hewett is one of the best I've heard in years. The title says it all: "Intimate". Really Excellent singing and top notch musicians. No drum computers or synthesizer carpetry, just pure undiluted groovy R&B. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!
