5.0 out of 5 stars OH BOY! A DEFINITE CHANGE FOR THE BETTER - #2
WOW! Definitely intrigue and mystery both of characters and plot.
What is funny is Simon Decker approaching Max Tripp in getting the low-down of Penelope Moon, a former class mate,.

They are all set to be married when Simon doesn't show up. Penny was left at the altar - until she is informed that Simon was in a coma.
Penny works at the Morehart...

1.0 out of 5 stars waste of time!!!!!
I cannot believe that I actually wasted my time on this. The main character was such an idiot. She is lied to by practically everyone she loves and trusts and then drugged or manipulated into the craziest situations.
Simon, the man she is in love with, is just sleazy for what he does to her. I won't even go into the quick and easy resolution of the story. If I...

Penny works at the Morehart Museum.
She is sent to Mexico to make a deal for the Museum by her boss, Avery Bennett. He ends up on crutches.

Her sister, Helen Moon Mckenna gives Penny the number of Robert Smith to call if she ever runs into trouble, he is an American with some obscure connection with the Mexican government.
Helen also talks Penny into staying at the estate of Alex Salizar, her husband, Grayson McKenna's partner. Alex has access to a powerful toxin that could revolutionize the cosmetic industry. Trouble is the women are dying from it.

Allen Decker, Simon's father, insists that she make an appointment any time she wants to spend time with Simon while he is in the coma. Doesn't he like Penny?

Edward Moon - Penny's father is a renown plastic surgeon whose private clinic has become a target of a governmental investigation.
Doug Fairchild is his protege and a man Penny's mother, Athena has been trying to match-up with her. Poor old Penny is pushing 30.

No one believes Simon will come out of his coma. Yet two months later Penny swears she saw him in Mexico.

Lies and spies and danger, what a combination. You just don't mess with the Feds. or Home Land Security.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED - PMS -- one of those tarts that has been around the block.

Wow, I have to disagree with the first review. I really liked this book. It was very unusual. Different strokes, I guess.
