Patti Austin is undeniably one of the best and most incredibly talented songstresses of our time--unfortunately, she has never gotten the recognition or respect due an artist of her vocal greatness. This compilation focuses on the ever-beautiful Quiet Storm ballads she recorded for the Qwest, Warner Bros. and GRP labels from 1981-95. This is music that will warm and nourish the heart, soul and spirit from an artist who has never made a bad album. If you are tired of today's trite, uninspired and tune-less so-called "urban" R&B then you'll love this anthology of REAL MUSIC from a TRUE R&B and Jazz DIVA. Enjoy!

Patti Austin, and of course Jean Carn and Phyllis Hyman have got to be some of the greatest unsung heroes of all time when it comes to female vocalists. This CD offers you a chance to sit back and truly pay homage to someone that has been gracing us all with her melodic voice for decades. You always here her on someone else's CD just to make them sound better. Now you can hear her in all of the glory that God poured into her. I highly recommend this CD to you. The sound quality is excellent and the choice of songs is also. I bought it JUST TO HEAR PATTI.
