Born to privilege in Hungary, Eva Gabor grew up in an atmosphere of luxury, education, and culture. Along with her older sisters Zsa Zsa and Magna, Gabor was attracted to the glamorous life and at an early age, Eva set out for Hollywood. Despite early career difficulties and two failed marriages, Gabor persisted in pursuing Hollywood and Broadway careers. Fame and fortune finally arrived, with several noted stage, film, and television performances, including her memorable role on Green Acres in the sixties. Eva went on to marry three more times, start her own wig company, and continue in show business and high society. In 1995, on a trip to Mexico, Eva took a serious fall which led to her tragic death, depriving America of one of its most charming and outspoken stars.
