Save your money,
This review is from: Body Bare Intimate Sensitive Area Shaver with Free Ladyfair Bikini Line Trimmer (Health and Beauty)
I was a HUGE fan of the Feather Touch razor with its phenomenal ability to produce a baby soft shave. So when I discovered there was an updated version with a rechargeable battery, I jumped right on it.The new sleek design is definitely appealing, however, that's about where the appeal ends. First of all, the shave itself was not nearly as close as the original version. I went over the same areas over and over, yet this version was unable to give me the same close shave as its predecessor. The worst part, the rechargeable aspect of the Body Bare is a joke. There is maybe a 10-minute charge, which is quite an inconvenience when the charge runs out in the middle of a shave. I would suggest sticking to the battery-operated version until the rechargeable version goes through some major and much-needed improvements.

Works fairly well, needs patience,
This review is from: Body Bare Intimate Sensitive Area Shaver with Free Ladyfair Bikini Line Trimmer (Health and Beauty)
The bodybare shaver works well (it's been 3 weeks). Just make sure it's charged well. We had no issues using it, the battery was strong through the first 30 minute shave. Definitely use as much baby powder as possible and go against the grain (preferably in circular motions). You need to work slowly and go over the same area until you no longer hear the hair being trimmed. The trimmer definitely needs fresh AA batteries. When it starts wavering, replace the batteries. Trimmer/sewing machine oil was bought at a textile place. I definitely recommend it to keep the blades in good condition. Although it may feel like you're breaking it, the trimmer blades do actually come off. Opening the package is not impressive at all. It looks very much like an overseas knock-off of the real product. I sent an email to one of the many resellers of this 'model' and they admit that no single company distributes it. That would be one reason I'd go for the Seiko Cleancut over this model. Still, although it's not name-brand, it still works well. The packaging feels very cheap. The trimmer had bleeding colors on the logo and the battery door would knock close all the way. The feel of the bodybare was much better and looked very professional. No complaints about the main product. I can see why the trimmer comes 'free'.

Me and my wife bought the Body Bare shaver. It worked just as they said it would if not better. To my wifes suprise it did not leave behind any burning feeling. She has sensitive skin in her bikni area and this shaver did no0t leave red irritation bumps behind. A great product! Even I use her shaver now. We may need to buy a second one.

Great product. My girlfriend and I used to use a remeington electric shaver. After purchasing and using the Body Bare, we will never go back to our old shaving ways. The shaver did not produce any burning feelings and was a snap to use. I will be recomending this to my friends.Geek871

This will get your skin baby-bottom smooth. The first razor, the white one, doesn't seem well made and my first one broke (hence the -1 star.) But, Deak sent me another one no questions asked and it has worked fine although it is cheaply made. The silver one is awesome and if you use it daily or bi-daily you can skip the white one altogether after the first run.Altogether after having waxed & razored, this combo is for me the ultimate and I wouldn't endure painful razor bumps ever again! I have rather sensitive skin. Note: You MUST use powder. If you don't plan to then don't buy this! Also, it takes a few runs over each spot to get it smooth. You basically need to approach the hair from all directions. There is no pain involved., but it takes about 5 minutes to do it right. Enjoy!

I bought this shaver expecting great things after reading all of the reviews. I was disappointed. It did offer a fairly close shave, as long as you trimmed it very short first (like only one days stubble). That was fine, it was worth it to get a closer smoother shave. It never was completely smooth though, but it was the best I ever got, since razors just don't work for me, too many red itchy bumps that way. You do need to take your time with this razor, it is not a quick shave. I do love the trimmer that came with it for free, no problems with that at all. However after using it for only 5-7 times, it just stopped working. I thought the charge was dead, so i charged it and it still didn't work. I was so bummed. HOWEVER, I contacted Amazon even though it was long past return dates, and they refunded my money. Talk about amazing customer service. Maybe mine was just a lemon, try it for yourself, but at least know they stand by their product.

Did not work as advertised for me or my partner. This razor seems underpowered and does a very poor job for me & my wife. I have fairly fine pubic hair, and after following the directions carefully found that it did not leave me "bare" at all. I am going back to a sharp blade, which seems to work best. I recommend you streer clear of this unit.

Of many similar products I've bought over the years this is simply the best at any price...ease of use and wet/dry feature adds to razor-bump-free fun! The free bikini line trimmer is average but it's free. Men can use this on face as well (or elsewhere) but a full face shave would take awhile and there are better specialized products for that.

Waste of money,
This review is from: Body Bare Intimate Sensitive Area Shaver with Free Ladyfair Bikini Line Trimmer (Health and Beauty)
This shaver does not provide a very close shave. The only type of person this might work for is someone with light hair. If you have dark hair and light skin, you will be able to see the stubble left behind. It is also very tedious to use, because it has to be kept up every day, it has to be stubble and no longer, and powder must be used. In certain areas it is difficult to manuveur and will not shave the hair all the way. It would be bad enough having to shave in the shower every day, but this makes it even more difficult because it must be done outside of the shower. The trimmer is the worst of all, it's loud and doesn't do a very good job. It cuts your skin very easily. I'd like to know what the "pros" or at least famous women use down there besides getting a wax. From what I have seen and tried, shaving does not provide an adequate solution.

Shaver,
This review is from: Body Bare Intimate Sensitive Area Shaver with Free Ladyfair Bikini Line Trimmer (Health and Beauty)
The product is what I want but I have only used it 4 times now and the blades seem to be dull. I can get the same amount of use from a straight razor. What do you suggest? Is this product returnable? I am not so sure it is worth $56
