Alone
When you are use to being alone it takes time to enjoy others around you
When you are use to being alone it seems easier
to block the pain out of lost love one's
When you are use to being alone your not use to hurting anyone's feelings because no one is usually there
When you are use to being alone you become stingy
because there is no one there to share with you
When you are use to being alone you tend to feel that
no one feels what you feel
I've been alone and I don't like it

Intimacy & Purpose,
By FC Sousa (Arlington, VA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Intimate Thoughts (Paperback)
Every story should have a beginning, a muddle and an end. But Star Fowler's "Intimate Thoughts" does not follow the conventional wisdom. In her first book, the author cleverly interlaces narration with poetry to heighten the experiences and emotions of her main character, a young woman named Ebony, in a journey through love, lust, loneliness and sometimes pain."Intimate Thoughts" is about respect and purpose. Perhaps the most important message the reader gets from this book is the realization that, to grow up, one must recognize that there is a time for departure even when there's no certain place to go. This is a powerful and unpretentious book that makes great reading for moments of introspection.
