Perfect from beginning to end,

This review is from: Intimations of Sorrow (Audio CD)
Sometimes you come across an album that is perfect from beginning to end... every song driving you to listen to the next. Valerian's Intimations of Sorrow is definitely one of those albums. The lyrics and vocals are stellar, the songs are melodic and catchy and the instrumentals never disappoint. I catch myself singing Never bring me down daily. Since buying Intimations of Sorrow everyone I know has asked who Valerian is and purchased a copy for themselves. If your looking for an album that will stay in constant rotation on your MP3 player then I highly recommend picking up a copy of Intimations of Sorrow!!

With the beating underline brought about by Janne, Followed by the smooth drums in the back ground done by Tipi. Valerian is one of the best bands of todays day and age. Excellent,

I have been looking for a new cd that would bring different types of styles together. I was introduced to this band by my daughter who loves this band. I am not a typical rock fanatic but I found the lyrics and music to be of excellent quality and the lyrics were quite touching. I love the upbeat tempo of "Homesick" which touches on some really great emotions and also gives you the get up and go feeling that many modern day musicians are lacking. I recommend this cd to anyone who is looking for a new sound in rock music. Its quite reminiscent of the music from the Guns n Roses era.
