They are nice well made shorts. The only problem I had was they are too small for me so I gave them to my wife. I ordered large and they fit like medium. Make sure you order a size larger then you wear and they will fit you just fine.

This review is about the Intimo boxers only and not about the debate of boxers over other types of undergarment. I purchased a couple of pairs for my husband. He finds them comfortable. I put them in a lingerie bag and wash them in the washing machine in cold water. After several months, they are still in good condition.

Though I prefer flannel and cotton boxers, I needed silk boxers for a long hiking and camping trip. (Silk has great moisture-wicking and quick-drying properties.) Under nylon shorts, the Intimo silks managed to keep my Special Fun Area reasonably dry even while hiking in driving rain. When they did get wet, they dried much, much faster than cotton boxers do.

They lasted a couple of months before falling apart - a pretty good show of durability, actually, given the amount of punishment they took. I had only two pair and I alternated them, often with a full week between washings. Obviously they got kinda crusty, but that couldn't be helped. Under the circumstances they held up well. I would recommend them.

As for this boxer/brief/thong controversy, I believe a man should wear whatever type of underwear he finds most comfortable. If that means boxers, fine. If it means a thong, fine. What women consider stylish should be at the very bottom of a man's list of concerns. Women consider all kinds of ridiculous things stylish, such as hairless pets, square-toed shoes, pointy-toed shoes, the Monochromatic Look and the music of Andrea Bocelli.

These are reasonably priced for silk boxers, and seem reasonably well made (I just got them and have not put them through a wash yet). However, if you are used to regular cotton boxers (like Fruit of the Loom or Hanes), please note that the Intimo silk boxers seem to run about a size smaller. So their medium is like a Hanes small, etc. I suggest getting one size larger than you normally wear. These are nice and cool, especially good for the summer.

As previously described, the sensation in your skin is great but I would not use them to go to work. I only use them at home and they really feel nice. I will probably order a couple more. It's also works great as pajama shorts.

I normally wear a medium but after reading other reviews I ordered large. They were too small. (I have a 33" waist). I returned them and promptly recieved extra large. They are quite big, appearently not running small. They are thin and very comfortable, but I have never found any silk boxers as nice as the discontinued Penny's Stafford brand.

These did not hold up well after a few washings. My husband has had these for about 6 weeks and the seams are already wearing out. They have been washed on gentle and line dried every time.

i bought the maroon and forest colors of these silk boxers and my boyfriend loves them. i wish i had ordered more!! great present for our two year anniversary

they are still in perfect condition several months later. he says he really likes them due to the elastic waist and the really smooth silky texture. highly recommended!

After purchasing a pair of Intimo boxers that were great, I ordered 6 more directly from the company - all in size Medium like the first pair I had. The all ran much bigger, including 1 of the 6 that must have been an XL! Unfortunately I washed them before trying them and Intimo wouldn't take them back. Horrible customer service!

These are nice and silky silk boxers - almost exactly what i expected, except after i put them through the gentle cycle and hung them to dry I noticed they shrunk. Then I read the care label...dry clean only.
(I live in a valley that doesn't even have a public laundromat) and this was not mentioned in the info when purchased. Very sad.
