This CD is absolutely AMAZING!!!! I loved his first CD, but now I have to say that it pales in comparison to this wonderful second CD. Phil just keeps getting better and better. He seems to be so much more comfortable on this CD than he was on the last one. The songs are uplifting and inspirational while keeping me tapping my feet. Many of the songs could easily be crossovers into the adult contemporary market while staying true to the contemporary christian genre.

Well, Phil Stacy hit me in two areas that I really appreciate in music, Faith Oriented and Patriotic. I believe his faith in God shows through in the music that he sings, the lyrics are great, but you can hear the feeling in his voice as he sings. I find myself coming back to this CD over and over again.

The last song, "Old Glory" is quickly becoming my favorite patriotic song. I am a patriotic person and so I enjoy hearing the national anthem and other patriotic songs all the time. It looks as though Phil not only sings this song but wrote it. Keeping in mind that he was serving in the Navy at the time of his "Idol" debut this makes the song even more special, because he has lived the life of a military person.

Phil's secular music is okay, but his Christian music is great! I love it. His heart for God is evident and every single song on this album is good.

I had no idea when I purchased this CD that it would quickly become my favorite. The music has an almost a vintage rock and roll flavor, the lyrics are inspiring. Phil Stacey did something that no other American Idol has done - he stuck to his principles and did not sell out. Most of these songs were written by Phil, and they are without a doubt the type of music he should be singing. Add a little American Pride and this CD is a home run. Buy it, Listen to the words, sing along - and enjoy!

Phil Stacey is a true Christian artist. While he didn't turn out to be an American Idol, he certainly is a Disciple of the Lord . His music shows this and helps me to be more focused on my calling to follow Jesus, too.

Id give this cd 10 stars & many tumbs up on outstanding cd for 2009 this one is.

For Phil Stacey's debut album, he tried the country music genre as the AI judges had suggested. It was a nice cd but did not do well with radio, sales, critics and Phil was released from Lyric Street Records.

Now, for his second album, Phil has signed with Reunion Records and has released a Christian music album. Christian music genre is the right genre for him. He sounds the most comfortable with this genre.

The results of the album are very promising. Plenty of hits, not only for Christian radio, but also crossover to Adult Contemporary radio.

If you enjoy some Christian pop, I recommend checking out this album.

All I can say is WOW... I am so blessed by this CD.
Great songs, GREAT lyrics, and a God given voice.
I LOVE THIS CD. Some hints af Michael English in his prime are heard in the phrasing,
but this is definitely all Phil's own sound.
If you like Contemporary Christian music, then you will LOVE this CD.
And to think I stumbled across it in the $5 dollar sale area on Amazon.
God Bless you Phil... I pray a long and fruitful career and ministry follows.

i liked him on idol, and i'm glad he's doing well. it's a good cd, the songs are good, and his voice sounds nice. good sound.

There is nothing in this CD that is memorable, that sticks in the mind, that captures the listener and makes them stop what they are doing to listen. It's an album devoid of songs I will remember. His songs of faith and patriotism may attract some, turn others off. Regardless, there just aren't any outstanding arrangements, songs, or vocals here. Eminently forgetable.
