Book Description

An oval sphere of light opened up, with the glass object in its center. The light was still red, but the humming sound had stopped. The oval was about two meters in diameter, much taller than Leo was. Bucky turned around and looked at Leo, barked again at the light and walked closer towards it. As soon as he touched it, it turned green, and to Leo's surprise Bucky was gone.

Leo rubbed his eyes, staring at the light. It had changed back to red but it was still there. Bucky was nowhere to be seen. "What had just happened?" Leo thought even more scared than before, but he was also overwhelmed with curiosity. He walked towards the light. He wasn't sure but didn't he just hear a familiar bark?

In "Into the Light" nine year old Leo and his bernese mountain dog Bucky embark on the adventure of their lifetime when Leo accidently opens a Portal that leads him and his friend into a very different universe.

Suddenly alone, Leo and Bucky are stuck in the middle of an ancient struggle. They have to fight droids and rock monsters, find a way back home and most importantly, help to save the universe.

"A clever sci-fi story", "action packed suspense", "fun read" and "an author to watch" are just
a few of the reviews for "Into the light" - a must read for Kids Age 8-14.

Into the light, is a story about a boy named Leo, and his dog, Bucky. Leo thought it would be okay, just for a minute, to look for Bucky's short red leash, in his Dad's forbidden basement. Bucky enters a portal he found, and Leo soon followed, only to end up in another universe.

Lots of adventures occurred in their quest to get back home. Don't miss any of the action packed suspense, in Luke Meier's, forty-eight page, debut novel, Into the light (The Portal).

Luke writes a great little "sci-fi" story that is fun and captivating. Read it to my littlest sister (she's 7) and she enjoyed it as well!

Was made aware of this book via The Exodus Rd. and Jamie the Very Worst Missionary.

Luke, keep up the good work, great writing and tender, compassionate heart!

Beyond the description there is nothing more I would like to say about this great book for fear of giving too much away.

It's one of those children's books that keep the reader engrossed on every page.

Most heartily recommended.

Keep writing!
