Eye Opening,

This review is from: Into the Light (Hardcover)
I was amazed at the level of detail. It's heavily documented, which is refreshing in an alternative medicine book. In fact, if what Dr. Douglass says is true (and I'm pretty confident it is), then the mainstream medical establishment has a lot of explaining to do about why they have rejected and ignored light-based therapies that have produced excellent, well-documented clinical or double-blind results over the course of a century. He also does an excellent job in not overselling his claims. He pulls no punches about when and where the therapy failed to work. When it does work, he also doesn't hold back in his enthusiasm. Some might be put off by this last fact, but I think his presentation is well-balanced, overall. My only criticism is that, while most documentation is excellent, I wish the author had paid a bit more attention to completing all of his references. I have a second edition copy, which includes a reference on page 232 to something called, _AIDS - The End of Civilization_, Chapter 6. Unfortunately, there are no other descriptions of that book that I could find, such as who wrote or published it. I learned later that it was another book by the same author, but that fact should have been included in the reference.) Another example of an inaccurate reference is on page 236, where he mentions a blue light therapy performed on a little girl in Chapter 14. Unfortunately, Chapter 14 is about a doctor with AIDS and how he has dealt with this personal crisis. It has no reference to either blue light therapy or the little girl. Such mistakes aside, the overall value of the book is tremendous. I recommend it heartily to anyone whose mind isn't closed like a steel trap. I also recommend another book by the author called Hydrogen Peroxide, Medical Miracle. The two books should really be considered companions of each other.

Factual history and indications of this excellent therapy,
By Kenneth J. Dillon (Washington, DC USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Into the Light (Hardcover)
Dr. Douglass is a leading American expert on Photoluminescence (aka Blood Irradiation, Biophotonic Therapy, etc.). In this book he provides a great deal of very useful original source material from the early American clinical trials of this formidable therapy. He has travelled to Russia to consult with physicians there and includes some material from recent Russian sources as well. The book is written in an engaging style, with many insights into topics related to this therapeutic use of the chemiluminescent property of human blood cells. The abundant evidence from this book makes it clear that mainstream medicine has allowed an excellent therapy to slip through the cracks. Readers may also wish to consult George Miley, "Ultraviolet Blood Irradiation" and my "Healing Photons" as well as our Website--biophoton.com. Kenneth J. Dillon, Spectrum Bioscience, Inc.

An important book for doctors and public alike.,
By A Customer
This review is from: Into the Light (Hardcover)
If you are open-minded about health, and concerned about chronic and degenerative disease--cancer, aids, herpes, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue,etc.-- you must read Dr. Douglass' book. Light therapy is not new, but it has been ignored, even though it saves lives otherwise "condemned" by modern medicine. PLEASE read this book: it could save a life--yours or someone else's.

I rarely read a book all the way through as I have done with this one. Fascinating. Shocking (why has not the NIH done rigorous studies on light therapy? Full of hope.

DR. Campbell's book "into the Light" is fantabulous. On a scale of 1 to 5, it is a 20. It is a must read if you believe in alternative medicine. It is sad that we can't get the FDA to approve of this life-saving treatment. This treatment saved my mother's life when conventional medicine put her in the hospital 4 times within one month.
In addition, this treatment saved my wife's life when she came down with Valley Fever. It also saved me from having heart surgery for an irregular heart beat. I am so grateful that I will not need that expensive and possibly fatal surgery. Anyone that says the treatments that Dr. Campbell recommends do not work has not really done any research on UVBI or H202 treatments. When all else fails, then try a UVBI & H202 treatment as stated by Dr. Campbell. Michael Monji, author of "Does It Pay to Die?

I want to say that DR. Campbell's book "into the Light" is a must read if you believe in alternative medicine. I can't believe how nieve doctors are when it comes to using what Dr. Campbell writes in his book.It is sad that we can't get the FDA to approve of this life-saving treatment. On a scale of 1-5 stars it is 10 stars. This treatment saved my mother's life when conventional medicine put her in the hospital 4 times within one month.
In addition, this treatment saved my wife's life when she came down with Valley Fever. She was so sick that I saw the look of death on her face. I know what that look is, because I have a BS degree in Medical Technology and I have seen many people who had that look of death on their face before they died. It also saved me from having heart surgery for an irregular heart beat. The UVBI corrected my Wolf Parkinson White Syndrome that my cardiologist said I had. I am so grateful that I will not need that expensive and possibly fatal surgery. Anyone that says the treatments that Dr. Campbell recommends do not work has not really done any research on UVBI or H202 treatments. When you can't get a doctor to heal you, then try getting a UVBI treatment as stated by Dr. Campbell.

This is a great work - so much has been written in the comments here and reviews, that what can I add? This book should be in EVERY hospital, university, and school. But there is no money to be made using something that works, is cheap, and easy to set up. If you are a Dr. read this book! If you are interested in Light to cure - read this book. If you are just interested in the truth - read this book!

Superb Book on Forgotten Cures,

This review is from: Into the Light - Tomorrow's Medicine Today!: Tomorrow's Medicine Today (Paperback)
This book has many documented and detailed accounts of people who were curing microbial diseases with ultraviolet light as early as the 1930s and 1940s and even back to the 1800s. Even very current accounts of using ultraviolet light to cure diseases are given. To call this book 'stunning' would be an understatement. The book brings forth an entire field of medicine which is totally ignored by Big Medicine and Big Pharma because drugs and high profits are not involved. He discusses cancer, AIDS, staph infections (now called MRSA), viral pneumonia and many other microbial diseases. At the end of the book is a 'how to' do it at home. Very Highly Recommended!!

It seems that the number of studies in this important area are few - probably because the prospect of big-money profits is low; nor does government fund many studies that won't lead to profits for those who donate to politicians. . . a pity.
